Currently on BCs. I need to install the sbc ball joints and get an alignment. Im waiting on my 15mm spacers to get here, then the final offset for front and rear will be +30

@Downmented; I've always wanted my RPF1's to be 18's. You sir, have just changed my mind. Never seen a 6 pull off 17's so good.

Hard to get Rotas here in Croatia, but found something very similar for my MS6. Have searched whole this thread, didn't found someone with 18x9 with ET40.
Now I have 19x8.5 with 225/35 tyres and with Eibachs but it rubs here and then, even with just driver. Doubt I will go for coilovers, will change those Eibachs with H&R in few weeks.
Wonder if my planned next setup with 18x9 with ET40 will easy fit?

Those are wheels I'm interested in. Anoyone have heard f them? They're Japan Racing JR3

Looks damn nice. I've always liked your car but I've got such a soft spot for RPF1s. They're easily my favorite wheels. Definitely post pics once you get them mounted.

Im just going to throw this out there, but if people are posting in this thread, and you are responding to pictures posted, a question about needing to roll fenders is useless. Anyone with "aggressive offsets" is going to require fender rolling/ pulling. Its a given. Just do it.

My fenders are rolled but not pulled. I still rub ever so slightly every once in a while. So i would suggest a slight pull as well.
At the moment, I'm not running spacers. The rear clears fine, but the front has bearly enough room to stick my pinky finger in. So when my tires need replacing and i upgrade to a 255, I'm going to use 3mm spacers up front.

Realized I put the wrong offset, thanks for pointing that out. It's 42.

@Downmented; BTW I saw your car in person with the st120's and those looked tits too! What spacers were you running with those? If it's possible I'd love to see some more pics of the st120's with the spacers.

So the ST120s were 18x8 +35, without spacers. Here are a few pics.

@Downmented; Makes me so excited to get my st120's mounted! I currently have the +48 offsets so after seeing yours I'll probably order some 10mm spacers.

alright, as we all know, tax season is here, and I'm really looking into an auto-x setup and needed some advice.

Now, Idk if I'll be the first ms6 to test this out, but I'm planning on

17x9.5 +38 rpf1's with 275/40/17 nitto nt01's and getting some coilovers

The point isn't that I won't have enough grip, but I'm kind of a sucker for overstated sidewalls. I'm trying to figure out a couple things. Would I be better off trying to fit them on the 17x9 +45 rpf1's? and after looking over the measurements, it looks as if I don't want to be lowered too much to avoid rubbing as much as possible. And idk if the 40 sidewall is too beefy.

I'm super excited to see how it turns out, but most likely I'll end up getting some spacers and extended studs. Sorry if this annoys the stance guys but I really need some good advice on setups for actual functional autocrossers. And not the kind of advice that says "just stick with some 245's" I wantz moar grip

I haven't seen a ms6 with anything more than 265's, maybe for good reason....

You're going to get a ton of poke with that set up. Also tires are larger than the stock diameter. Why not just get 17x9s with 255/40/17.

I should've mentioned, these are going to be a pure track setup. So it doesn't matter to me how much they poke.

Basically on the days at the track, I'll bolt them up, and take them off when I get home.

Especially with a 100AAA treadwear rating on the tires. lol

Got my new rims finnaly, 18x9 ET40, and went into problems I think. Don't know how did you got fitted 9" widht rims with similar offset, but it looks pretty hard to me without major bodywork.
Any workaround here?

Looks sick Boost. Been following you on IG, can't wait to see the finished product.

As for how we fit 18x9 on our cars. Some camber, little bit of tire stretch, rolled/pulled fenders, plus when tires are mounted, the car is lowered to the ground and the wheels compress, they compress into the fender at an angle, not straight up and down. So when you test fit wheels without putting it back on the ground, it will always look like the wheels won't fit.

Getting tires for my Wedssports next week guys, hope to have some pics soon after.

You need adjustable front ball joints! I run spc adjustable ball joints and I'm running -1 ish degrees of front camber (can't remember the exact number off the top of my head).

Saw somewhere you can twist some excentric bolt to adjust camber, cant remeber where I have read that. True, or just spc ball joints can do the job?
