Anyone running any set-ups with slicks up front, slicks + skinnies or 4 slicks (for you "niggas" in the 11's) post here.

prease post
  • Tire size.
  • Tire model.
  • Wheels sizes (diameter/width/offset).
  • What PSI are you running?
  • Any info on tubes you're running.
  • Any other bullshit you want to add. Including nudez.

I'm running 245/45/17 NT 555R's on evo 8 wheels. 17x8 +38 no spacers and no rubbing. 38psi in the tires. I'm sure if I ran 20psi I wouldn't spin at all. I'm pushing about 330-340whp 375-390wtq

Can get more pics if anyone wants.

Im having the hardest time trying to find 15x8 inch wheels on 5x114.3

nlmotoring doesnt have shit that I could find and this is a decent website I found.

would any of these wheels work? Pretty sure they would just checking.

15 Inch Cragar Wheels 397 Soft 8 Black Wheel Cap Additional $14.95 By Cragar Wheels - Starting from $70.00 with Free Shipping and Free Warranty - Buy Wheels and Rims Online from Performance Plus Wheel and Tire

15 Inch Size 15x8, Bolts 5x114.3, +6 Offset - Black U.s. Wheel 204 Stealth Blade Matte Black Rim By U.s. Wheel - Starting from $68.00 with Free Shipping and Free Warranty - Buy Wheels and Rims Online from Performance Plus Wheel and Tire

Also there is a decent selection of 15x7 +40 rota's in 5x114.3

Drag radials are not slicks and u still will have traction issues.

The sidewall would not be big enough to support the type of traction u need at the track. They might be good for 3rd gear pulls on the street with a 500whp speed3 though or speed6 for quicker 60 fts.

Drag radials on 16's might actually be decent, u would just have to lower your air pressure super low. Straight line traction is all about tall/soft sidewalls.

Is there a website that has cheap wheels and slicks Package? I took my car out to the track and had problem with traction in 1st and 2nd, it killed my 60ft time, I dropped my air pressure to 25psi, but then again there street tires

I run 225/50/16 nitto 555r drag radials.

Straight line traction is amazing. 2nd and 3rd are useful again! I don't take the car to the strip so there's no use for slicks on my setup.

I even managed to keep up with the faster nator guys on the dragon. Overall I've been really happy with the tires.

I got them already mounted on FDs for under 400. They came with Efini center caps too

You need to lower the pressure, 16psi seems to be the sweet spot for me. I was able to cut a 1.9sixty last time out. Clutch dump at 4300, slight bog then dead hook. They need a good 8-10 sec 2nd gear burnout.
