Question RPF1's? 17x8.. should I buy for summer?

A buddy of mine is selling his RPF1's for $600 and I'm thinking about making a summer setup with these bad boys what do you think?

Specs are 17x8 +35 and I was going to throw on some Michelin Super Sports at 235/45. Will they fit?

should be ok, but there is a wheel thread somewhere that had some specs listed, 235 will be fine on an 8 inch rim, but 245 45 17 would be right on the money with stock spec comparison, and more awesomer

No problems running 245 on an 8"? Also planning on dropping some Eibach pro's here soon and I would rather not roll fenders.

im running 245 40 18 on my rx8's right now. and they look perfect, but if you plan to autox i hear you will want to go a little narrower so you dont get any sidewall flex. I have cornered pretty hard though and havent felt anything weird. love my new found rim protection.

Yeah I bet the extra overlap gives some nice protection for those curbs!
