Question Running without TPMS Sensors?

What happens if I run without TPMS sensors installed?

Will I have an annoying light flashing at me the whole time I'm driving?

I think I read somewhere that someone on one of these forums experienced difficulties when his dealership tried to do a TSB reflash on his ECU. Something like the computer couldn't complete the process because the sensors weren't there?

It's not like I need a sensor to tell me to check my tire pressure :-p

The light flashes for a couple of minutes, then stays lit.

The light will eventually turn off after a few start-up cycles... But,

If you park near your stock wheels like I do, the light will never turn off...
I have my stock wheels stacked in the corner of my garage and it seems to pick up the sensors everytime I pull in; another instance is parking or pulling next to another MS3 with stock wheels will reset the light to where it will flash and stay on for a period of time.

Over 30 start-up cycles for me so far, and my light still comes on. I don't park anywhere near my stock wheels.

Ya, then you have no excuse for having a flat, pulling out the spare...and seeing that it's flat too.

how can you put your sensors in your spare tire? there's only room for one valve stem?

are these tpms different from others?
