Default RX-8's with 5mm spacers

So I'm sure it's been covered and probably beat to death but I've searched and haven't really Felt any resolution. I have an 07 speed 3 with a conservative drop on cobb springs and rx8 wheels. I want just a little more flush setup and have been considering spacers. As far as bang for your buck it looks like the jbr spacers are the way to go but is 5mm going to make any difference whatsoever? Anyone had a similar setup and care to share some insight?

Thanks and again sorry if this has been covered somewhere.

It's going to make a 5mm difference.

Not noticeable IMO. If you're going for looks do 10

The reason I say 10mm is with my rx8s and 5mm I couldn't get a safe # of turns on the lugs. Would have needed longer studs.

Factoring in that cost, I'd go 10mm instead

Yeah, for the cost of good 10mm with extended studs I'll keep what I've got and save my money for better fitting wheels down the road. Thanks for the info guys.

Ahh c'mon, doo eeet! I need you to guinea pig this so I can see if I want to do 5mm or get the 10mm with extended studs. I also run RX8's with cobb springs on my genjuan. Just need that little bit more visually...

Don't be afraid of the cost. Extended GM studs are $60 and you should be able to find either the 5mm or 10/12mm for around ~$60 for the set so $120 total.

I believe @Tomas; runs RX8's and 12mm spacers along with extended studs, maybe he can share some pics of his setup if he's still running this?

Did you have any issues getting the RX8 wheels to fit without rubbing? What size tries are you running?
I'm interested in putting RX8 wheels on my stock MS3.

Sorry for such a late response, just finished with a move from hell... The rx8's were on the car when i bought it but from my understanding they are the same fitment as stock only 1in wider. I am lowered on cobb springs with 225/45/18 tires no rubbing issues at all..

That's fine, I hope it went well. I'm about to move too. That's good to hear, I don't plan on lowering, but I love the looks of the RX8 wheels and they're lighter than the Speed3 wheels.
