Sumitomo HTR Z III A New Name Challenges the Max Performance Summer Category I am looking to replace my Falken RT 615's with another street tire that has a little bit more tread life. At $111 for 225/40 18 and such good test results, these tires seem to be quite a buy. Does anyone have any experience and opinions on them yet? |
They are (or at least were) rated #1 in their category. and soooooooo cheap. Got them on my wife's 00 Mustang GT vert and they stick like glue. Probably use them on the MS3 when my next set wears out... |
shipping charges ftl. too bad discounttiredirect.com doesnt sell these |
I got em, haven't really gotten a chance to use them cept for a couple miles but they feel better than the potenzas and they're cheap as fuck :P |
i have them. 225/45-18 they're awesome. |
I've got 'em and have been really impressed with them. They did great in a torrential downpour the other night and felt solid doing 70mph on flyover highway junction. I'll get a better idea how they do on a road course this fall. 245/40/18 |

^ Yeah, he said they were working well at that point and didn't have any issues running the dragon (318 turns in 11 miles), which he did in the rain and dry. We also rode hard for about 4 hours including high speed sweepers (avg of 75 mph) and high speed mountain roads (about 55 mph - 60 mph avg). This was the run boosted3 blew at the end of, but Corbs never had any complaints and those cover pretty much every kind of driving I can think of, including some pulls to 130+ |
i have some as well.....i've put about 2k miles on them and they are fantastic tires! Lots of grip, predictable at the limit, quiet and good in the rain. |
