Default TPMS compatibility ?

I have a 2007 Us speed 3 and my wife a canadian 2010 cx7. Both are equip with tire pressure monitoring system. I wonder if both use the same wheel sensors and if it is all compatible with the ones availaible for sale?

Is it all the same or i need to check for specific part # or models to work with the OEM reading module.

I think all the Mazdas use the same ones.

I have 4 different sets: one set that came with my MS3, another set that came on the RX8 wheels I bought years ago, and 2 sets that I've purchased separately (one from a private seller on ebay, another from Amazon).

They all work.

I believe there have been a few revisions. But as far as I've tried all newer revisions are backwards compatible. Old sensors however may not be forward compatible. I'll dig up the current revision part number and post it.

Here is a link to some more information about the sensor changes: http://www.tpmsdirect.com/Mazda_TPMS...tion_a/725.htm
I'm still not 100% on if old sensor types will work with the newer systems, but I've used the current sensors with older mazdas. But like @Nliiitend1; said they pretty much use their sensors across all their cars.

Oh yeah the current part # is bbm2-37-140b
