I hope so, to me wheels are the hardest thing to pick out. I got a great deal on these, couldn't pass them up.

Because I didn't want a 40 offset. Also I was planning on running 235/40/18 tires on either size. Trying not to have rubbing issues haha

Hey just curious...you're running 18x7.5 rims and 235 tires...is that normal?

If so the setup I'm running right now would be wierd? 18x8 w/ 225 tires

I can't say for your tires. But there are several guys running the same setup as me with no issues. I like wide looking tires though. I guess I'll find out in a few days.

Looking at some charts, here is what 225 tires fit. 18x6.5 to 18x8.5. So i'd say there is nothing wrong with what you picked.

Well, tirerack screwed me. They sent me 38 offset wheels. I called them and THEY KNEW ABOUT THE PROBLEM, but they sent the wheels anyway. So now I gotta wait about 2 weeks for a refund so I can re-order them.

That sucks. Tire Rack is usually pretty damn good.

That's a bunch of BS right there. You shouldn't have to reorder anything. They should have issued a call tag for the wrong ones and automatically ship you the correct ones when they get them back. Someone messed up at tirerack...

im running 235/40-18 on a 18x7.5 and they are doin just dandy

yeah that's what I was trying to tell them.

They said it's not done that way. Oh and more BS. UPS never showed up to pick up the wheels friday like they said they were going to. So I guess Tirerack will be getting a call again tomorrow.

Update: Should have pics on car this weekend... After all the drama with tirerack (will NEVER order anything from them again). I ordered them from a company on ebay and actually saved over $100 and shipping took one day. So I am going to clean the car up really good and try to do a photo shoot (weather permitting).
