Default Wheel Gurus Please Help

I was about to purchase my enkei gtc-01s today when the tire rack rep told me that the setup requested wouldn't fit. Please take a look at both options and let me know:

His recommended option:
18x7.5 48mm offset
225/40/18

My set up:
18x8.0 48mm offset
235/40/18

My car is dropped roughly 2" on coilovers so they can go up. Anyone have either of these sizes on a dropped car and care to give insight i would really appreciate it. The difference between the 2 setups is $30 so price isn't an issue. Thanks guys

His setup is safer. Lowered 2", you will probably rub with your setup. Maybe mix the 2 setups.. 18x8 and 225s or 18x7.5 with 235s. If I had to pick, I would go with his setup.

not plannin on rolling the fenders...in the end i want the fattest TIRE from the back, not the fattest RIM. Anyone have pics of 225 on an 8" wheel? Does the lip stick out farther than the tire? Vice versa...235 on a 7.5" wheel...will the tires bubble out? Im goin for a flush look. Thanks

235's will rub if you are dropped 2 inches.
