Wow, you made this look a lot more difficult than it actually is. Got mine off without opening the rear, sliding tabs out, etc. Just used a flat head screwdriver wrpapped in a terry cloth to get the old ones off. Now, anyone thinking of getting these should not order them online since they tend to bend very easily. Get them from a local Mazda dealer and I also suggest opening and inspecting them at the dealer. First set I got had one with a slight crimp in it and that was from the dealer. Luckily we did enough business with them that they took it back no questions. |

do they get to rain gutter mounted models later on? i'm so pissed i didn't know about this before i bought my current yakima qtower setup.
