Who wants to see an MS6 Atmosphere Kit From CP-e?

so ive been talking with cpe about getting an MS6 version of this kit made:

MazdaSPEED3 Atmosphere


i saw some interest in this thread:

CP-E Atmosphere Turbo Kit


but i wanted to make it official here. I will be lending them my car to mock up the kit on sometime at the end of november. theres nothing i hate more then seeing all the love for the MS3's and the MS6 is left in the dust just because we're a "special edition limited production run"


so lets get a list running of all the people who would consider this kit. They need a running count to get an idea of production counts.

Well it's close to $5000 for a GTX turbo. I'm also sure cp-e will charge a little more for the MS6 kit. I'd love to have more options but just don't see this being practical.

If the price is right interest will be there. There are plenty of MS6s going BT and if this is an affordable alternative to piecing your own kit together people will buy it.

I'd say a GT kit should be closer to 4k and the GTX should be around 4.5k. I think 5k for a GTX is pushing it as people can piece this stuff together for way less than that.

You can charge a premium for saving people a headache and selling a complete kit that fits and bolts right up. How much premium are people willing to pay will be apparent by how many MS3 kits they sell at that price point.

Not only would I be interested, I would like to see their built block thrown in to a complete kit as well. 4.5k for the kit is awesome IMO. The price of the built sexiness is ridiculous though.

So if they want this to succeed, they need to keep a few things in mind.

Will the kit have different options, i.e- will it be interchangeable to work with people who are already bolted.

Noone these days, buys a stock MS6 with plans to go BT instantly, this car just isnt that appealing to someone who has that kind of money.

It has to be marketed to the masses, or this kit will fail just like the rest of their products.

If we wanted to buy individual parts from this kit, that are MS6 specific, like the DP for example. then that would also be amazing.

I know for sure that this screamer pipe is going to be too much and i would love to be able to recirc into the DP. The more variety and flexibility they offer, the better off they will be in the long run.


Bottom line, if they want to be successful with this, they have got to listen to the customers. Hopefully there is enough interest for this, because noone wants to spend 7500 for the full race kit.

from what i hear this kit will have the same pricing as the MS3 kit unless theres some insanely drastic difference after they get it bolted up.

they are going to be somewhat flexible with options but i cant say how far they will go.

Even if thats the case, where you make them as the orders come in, then its still an option for use remaining MS6 guys. I know i for 1 would love the dp with recirc dumptube.

A lot of people would probably buy a corresponding downpipe for the exhaust manifold.

I for one wouldn't buy the manifold because I'd have to get a custom downpipe made at this point. It's really a shame because the manifold seems to be the only reasonably priced piece cp-e makes. It flows plenty and won't crack, obviously there are some install fitment issues but it's worth the money.

This isnt the place to talk about fitment issues with the manifold. If you want to find that stuff out there are several threads that speak about it. Go search for it.

If the kit stays around $4500 I think that's a smoking deal and really leaves no reason to piece everything together. If the kit wanders closer to $6k, then you might have reason to only want the manifold/DP combo.

I'm not 100% sure they will end up doing a kit for the MS6. I wouldn't count on it to be honest. If you wanted, you could buy the manifold and a tial vband turbo and make a custom downpipe and dump tube and put together all the other accessories. Let me know if you want to explore that.

Well, I hope they do, I'm already making plans for this during next years Black Friday Sale!!! If not, would definitely be looking to piece something together around that time. I will be in touch though about some Stage 2 pistons and other goodies shortly...
