| No, not balls out, just some added boost and opening throttle. The ball's out maps are being made right now, but after seeing this data, im not really sure how they will be. I think the whole making power using torque input is fuckin us over on power.

I've done countless 14.1's with low reaction times and never gone past 102 mph. Where I see discrepancy is with 60' @ 2.729, little high for 105 mph result. No big deal continue having fun! | |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I went to Fontana this weekend. 95 temp , track sucked as usual. best time 14.5 @98.54 mph with 2.370 60' times. I did switch maps after 2 passes (had to take my kid to Karate) put about 120 miles on the MSF map and dropped 2 mph vs the stock v.101 map. After about 4 passes on the MSF I tried the stock v.101 and got my 2mph back. I know , I know ...it hasnt had time to set in yet , your LTFT's and all that jazz. The car runs the same 100 miles into a new map or 500 mile into it. It took 2 hours with the hood up and the engine off to come up with 98mph on the following pass. (this top mount is crap when its hot.) My mistake for thinking it was gonna be different than last time. Guys to put a race pipe ( I am assuming it replaces the 2nd cat) do you need to have an aftermarket exaust?..... are there any out there that have the same I.D. of the stock system? |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I posted my results when I tested at 68 degrees. at the track there is no way to do an accurate test between maps, there isnt enough time to adjust and with so many different parameters , intake temp, coolant temp, outside temp, launch rpm etc etc. it is impossible to have a controlled test . for me testing on the street allows me to make everything the same at will, no staging , no lights no nothing, and the device I use is accurate (I ran it twice again against actual track time and it was accurate to within .1 seconds and .5 mph. Now lets see what those "alleged " v.102 maps do....... (by the way I did go against an EVO x with an AMS intercooler and intake and we both trapped 98 and change, he did however have .4 seconds on me, GREAT TRACK!!!!! for roasting marshmallows) |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I was disappointed that you replaced your 80 dollar boost controller again with a 600 standback and new meth kit and all kinds of goodies yet didn't gain a damn thing on the dyno. The difference is we know that you will get whatever it is worked out and the power will be shown, unfortunatley you can't give COBB the time of day to make improvements. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Not that I am particularly fond of laloosh's way of criticizing the AP, I will agree with him in the fact that not one person has shown an improvement and some of us have made an honest effort to show some of the thruths that perhaps the "masses" ignore for the sake of justifying their buy. I think there are so many differences between tracks, drivers and even power outputs from the factory that saying I trapped 104 stock vs the other guys 98 is not fair. Shit I trapped 100mph several times with just an intake and weigh 360lbs..... so can I say I trapped 102? I think its best to keep one owns improvements as a measuring stick rather than comparing against others. |

Did you miss the part where i walked phils car who dynoed higher, even though i made less tq and hp everywhere? Did you also miss the part where a 50 trim srt4 that dyno 348 couldnt pass me? REad the thread, it clearly states the car was not holding boost on the dyno |

I later upped the boost and it did nothing, it just spike higher hence the higher wtq As for the two car thing...i saw it different. 1 car is when hes at my rear bumper...when your able to see the car your racing in your center review....its not 2 cars |
