Default Standback PNP + Bypass plug = CEL

::UPDATE::
After discussion with CP-E, this has been fixed with the help of MPS Garage. Replaced PNP unit and all is now working without CELs
::UPDATE::

So thought it was about time I installed my Standback2 which has the CP-E PNP harness.

Install is straight forward as I didnt install the switch and led (wires are too short so will extend them later) so went ahead and connected the PNP harness.
Following the Krystm guide, I connected the bypass plug to test. Start up car with no issues. Take car for a drive and notice no CELs, so head home.
Get home turn off car, turn car back on and CEL.

I dont have a DH to check the CEL code as Im waiting for that to arrive. So what other way can I diagnose the problem?
I have unplugged everything, connected ECU back and went for a test drive. Turn off car and back on with no CELs contiue driving back home and turn car off and back on - again no CELs.

Figured I'd try connecting the PNP one more time - still with the bypass plug, no CEL on drive however turning the car off and back on I get a CEL.

So I removed it all again and running stock ECU plugs with no CELs.

Any help is appreciated! have emailed CP-E support so hopefully can get this fixed.

Australia hasn't got the AP supported yet so I can't sell the Standback for that
