installed H&R spring on my MS3, and now there is sound coming on the top of the strut/top mount when i turn slowly......it's really driving me crazy....help need ASAP..

I've seen a few speeds around Calgary in my first few days here. Awesome city, but not too many MS3s.. There's one (gen 2, silver) parked on Taradale Drive NE, to the east of Falconridge Blvd. Hope to see more of you.

do you know the torque specs for the bolts on your strut tower? That would be the first thing I'd check out...

Is yours the Blue Gen Pu that is lowered, but still on stockers and aftermarket exhaust? I have seen that one at Lot 10 though...

ktms3 no i don't i sometimes drive my sister to school, i go for flying school out in spring bank but ya am officially coming to the meet and cruise on sunday pretty excited for it i know it will be so much fun

so i guess i better introduce my self, my name is moe, bought my ms3 last year in august. 2011 mazdaspeed 3 with tech package (red), bought tsw nurburgring matte gun metal rims for the summer and winters are on the stock rims, tinted windows and otherwise car is stock now, future tuning plans but thats all!! i love the car, its amazing!!!

Ok, I've been at it for a few days now but I am not seeing any thread about where Calgary peeps go to get their cars fiddled around with... Don't want to start a new thread because it's such a waste. There's got to be a tuner mechanic here where people bring their cars to get parts installed.

Most people do all the work themselves. You will spend way to much money on labour to get stuff installed. Pretty much every bolt on has a how-to on MSF.

I do stuff myself as well. Although, we're not fully settled in Calgary yet so I don't have space to tinker around with the car, in addition to not having time because of work. That's why for the time being, I'd rather bring it to a trusted mechanic.

Today I got tailed by a tl type s. He was staring at me for a while when we encountered a light then I just acclerated normally to 4k he decides to follow me so i give her a gas. He then tries to keep up I decided since its my b day I might as well have some fun so I accelerated to 200 took a turn and he was gone after the turn. I thought TL were faster haha. Well my question is which cars did you guys race? Beat any sti, g37, s2k, or evo?

alright, so for me beat a TL type s before on the highway, kept up with a mustang GT with an exhuast system, beat the shit out of a stock wrx, kept up with an evo x mr from stand still up to 150 with my nose aligned with his tail, then i said enough! beat the crap out of a mb slk 320 kompressor or what ever it is with a whole bunch of mods.

BEAT my dads cayenne S, haha not too many people can get their dads to race them

that what i remember at the moment!! for sure more stories coming!!

Spotted a blacked out gen 2 speed3 with yellow brakes, blacked out tail lights and blacked out wheels. This was in the Mackenzie Town area around 3-4pm.

Also about 630pm, heading north on Deerfoot, white gen 1 speed 3 with black mud flaps, stock wheels. I honked twice.
