Lightbulb Upgrade Help

I have a 2009speed in the deep gray, Ive got the black tint, and thats it. I want to upgrade my appearance, and my engine but I dont know where to begin. I dont want it to be obnoxiously modified, but just a few suttle things to enhance performance and make the appearance different than all others...any suggestions?

get an intake...whichever you prefer sri or cai...cp-e is my recommendation for performance wise..that will keep you happy.

And for appearance get some coilovers/rim set up and you should be good to go...again to start with

There is one simple thing you can do which will fullfill your request for better looks and enhanced performanced. Stickers and decals. Usually the really big ones are good for 5-10hp each.

Seriously, read and look around. You will be able to find threads which will give you an idea on where to start. A rmm, intake and inlet are a good place to start.

like dizz said depends on your budget but i started with intake its the cheapest good power increase, and the next cheapest good power increase is the turbo inlet, from there i would go for an AP for a monitor and out of the box tune...the AP is kinda pricy but has very noticeble power gains with the stage 1+SF map.

Pulling off the side mouldings is free and makes the car look better... Also tinting side markers and tailights etc. is super cheap and can look pretty sweet if done right...

I totally agree with starting out with an intake... I have a cobb short ram intake and its great. Sounds cool and good hp gains.

Intake and RMM is the only thing I gonna put on my speed3 for now for performance. I did the window tint already and next is factory speakers getting replaced. The sport version has horrible speakers and I am waiting for my Infinity Kappas to come in for the doors and tweeters.

A turbo inlet will net you almost no power. Your turbo will spool a little bit sooner but but you will get under 5 hp from it. A test pipe will cost you the same but give better gains. DP's are also better HP/$ and a Tune is also going to provide pretty good HP/dollar.

For appearance the obvious thing is wheels. Taking off the side moldings works for a lot of people and is free. Best off all is getting some hot chick to flaunt her stuff next to it.
