Hey, I am looking into painting the stock gen2 wheels. As of now, I've got 15% tint all around and I can't decide what color to paint the wheels. I was thinking gloss black but if I want to smoke the lights out eventually, I'm not sure how it'll look.

Any suggestions on colors? Maybe someone has pictures of the stock wheels in bronze or gold?

My summer wheels and tires are a set of Kosai Racing 18x7.5 K-1s in a color they closed out called Emory Gold. They look gold in daylight and almost black at night. Don't have them on right now in the cold weather so no pictures.
I mainly like them because they weigh around 17.5 lbs, which is light for a non-forged wheel. One set of wheels I would like to try on the car is the ones I used to race on my Mustang Cobra in the late 90s. SSR Integral A2s 17x9 (16# each). Bolt circle is fine but offset is not unless I put some flares on the car. A 255/40-17 would be about the same height as a 225/40-18 on an MS3 wheel. But rim is about 1.5" farther out than a 9" rim that fits an MS3. Means I would need at least a small flare and of course then my regula wheel sets would look lost inside those fenders. I would be forced to use Eibach spacers to move the wheels I use now out.
