(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Which parts are most in demand/valuable??? Long story short, there has been a CX7 in my family for the last 4+ years. The owner passed away, and now the bank is being a bunch of a$$hats - they want to come take the car, so they will get the car PLUS they get to keep the 4+ years of payments they've already received. I am pulling what I can from the car before they take it. Any suggestions? I'm not opposed to pulling the longblock and trans if you can lead me to a walk-thru. If you're in CA and need parts, you can have whatever you want. Thanks in advance.

Is there a Carmax around there? There are even dealers who buy used. You should get 10K for it, roughly.

So there has been $20k of payments and only $5k left and you are going to let them take it? Why not get a loan for the remaining $5k, and sell it for $10k-$15k? PS-I think it is likely illegal to pull the motor in an attempt to screw over the bank. If you don't own the car it's theft, or at least damage to property |
