'12 MS3 vs '07 WRX

Not that great of a story, but i had a quick run with what seemed like a mildly modded '07(i think) wrx.

I was the instigator on this one, i saw him pull out of a plaza pretty aggresively so i figured he would be up for a quick run.

Pulled up next to him, gassed it a little to see if he wanted to play, we started to slow down, we must have been around 20mph when i honked it off. I pulled about a car length, to maybe a car and a half by 70ish before letting off as we were not in the most ideal place to be going that fast.

He wanted another run, but my turn was coming up. Guy was cool, found out he lives close to me (Poker room in jacksonville), so i am hoping we can meet up again and get some clean runs in, perhaps a few dig runs to even things out since he gave me a roll run.

The stock TD04 on the pre 2009's is rubbish. He would likely be a waste of your gas from anything but a dig. Go find a 2009+ running the stock VF-52 and ethanol and shit will get interesting.

I beat my buddies 06 WRX with 18g, injectors, intake, TBE and big TMIC by 2 cars from a roll. I also beat another buddy with a 2012 WRX with TBE by bus lengths from a roll. I'm sure if they had better tunes it would be a closer or different ending. They should have self tuned...lol

I have a friend who has a 2010 wrx with a TBE and a tune. He dyno'd 300 to the wheels. I beat him twice from a roll of 30 and all I have is a SRI and TIP

Consistently haha trying to get my friend with an Evo X to race me from a roll. He keeps talking shit but I think he's holding off to put his downpipe on and AP so he can tune. Think he got scared that I best another AWD turbo haha

18g is only moderately bigger than the VF-52 from the 2009+. You buddy would get stopped by a stock turbo E85 2009+ WRX.

When it works out I will race sassyspeed3 and her gtx3071 and put to bed this nonsense that AWD cars can't go from a roll. Not saying I will beat her but it should be closer than people think.
