The cars weigh almost the same and the Camaro has at least 100HP more. I am not sure how the Camaro is geared but I will say that the Camaro likely wasn't running as hard as he could.

I ran an Auto SS a few weeks back and was dead even until 80 or so, when he started to pull. I'm less modded than you, and heavier, but have elevation and thin air on my side. So I believe you. Hey, PM me what you did to put the car on a diet. I'd like to lighten mine up as much as possible without gutting.

. Yeah, I know I would need to get my manifold reflanged, but besides that, there isn't much else needed and those turbos are pretty badass. I'm really thinking about going for it. Do you know what they go for roughly? There are a couple guys over in russia I think that have done it. If you type in td05 mps6 you should see some vids.

camaro SS curb weight: 3750 MS6 curb weight: 3589 It's not that far off. We're both heavy. I know you said you lightened it, but 400 HP and 410 lb-ft TQ camaro vs 270/280 from our MS6s stock is just off. Only reason why I havent bothered trying to race any of these guys. I feel as if my BT would only just hold them and that's it. Given my clutch issues recently, i feel like i'd lose by a bit if it ended up slipping at the top of fourth or something. |

I've been trying to run my friends SS for awhile now. His is like a 2010 I think. Dude runs his mouth SO much "piece of shit mazda blah blah" but then he is never game to race. I even told him we could do it from a roll. ![]() Good to see you got a kill out of it

waste of money. If you are trying to be different yeah sure but cost wise just get a bolt on stock frame and call it a day. Or better yet just get a real evo.....
