I have a Prosport EGT gauge that's missing the EGT bung...I msg'd them and they want $10 plus shipping...might be $20 be it gets to Canada. Any other suggestion?

Ah.. if the compression nut is welded to the EGT probe, you are just looking for a 1/8" NPT to compression adapter. Have you tried the plumbing section at Home Depot? Although they may only have brass ones.

I've went back to DTC where I got the fittings for the catch-can...here's what I've found: http://dtcindustrial.com/Steel_Adapters_v1.pdf#page=7 it's either the 5404-0202 - 1/8" Male NPT Hex Nipple or 5404-0602 - 3/8-1/8 Male NPT Hex Nipple I emailed their sales with the pics...hopefully I'll find out soon.

It won't be either of those. Look in this picture: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...install007.jpg The top thread where his finger is, is tapered, that is 1/8" NPT. The bottom (thumb) has a chamfered end, and will be a straight thread for the compression nut. http://dtcindustrial.com/Steel_Adapt...ntinued_v1.pdf You need something more like 768FS-0302 3/16" Tube Compression x 1/8" NPT on page 2, and you just unscrew the compression nut on the left side of the fitting and toss it, and screw that end into your probe. See the 'imperial tube nut' on the top right of the page, that is what you remove from the fitting, because that is already attached to your egt probe. | ||||||||
