AST's! Nice, I like the adjustable endlink mount. Double or triple adjustable?

May I ask how much the setup cost you? How do you adjust the rebound on the rears? Looks like compression is on the can.

I went with budget Koni's lol

No idea on cost until later this week. I'll get the final bill once the machine work is done to adapt the Corksport camber plates to the STX legal setup. Compression is the bronze knob on the canister and rebound is on body of the coilover.

Edit: I wasn't meaning to hijack this thread, just wanted to show my application for the camber plates I'll have a thread up sooner or later once this project's finished.

Here's the rear coil's compression and rebound adjustment:

Still doesn't look like tremendous amount of adjustability with the counter sunk screws...interested to see the max negative camber without cutting.

Due to the massive inverted nut/bolt we were only able to get 2.1 degrees reliably. If we did some more adjusting/machining of spacers or other bits it would have been another half a degree to a degree. I'm pretty confident that a non inverted strut will yield 2.5-3 degrees.

While 2.1 degrees of negative camber isn't optimum for the full-time autocross competitor, it's right in the ballpark of where I'd want to be (the-daily-driver-occasional-autocross-and-track-day-car). And since it looks like that can be achieved without cutting of the strut towers, my wallet is on standby until the camber plates are available to the public.

interested in these camber plates as well. Im maxed out at 1.5 right now. Id be PLENTY happy with 2.0 degrees up front. Even if I could get more... Id want 2.0-2.2 at most. Let us know if these are available to the public!

I had to go from -2.2 to -1.8 since I was wearing out the inside of the tires with the quaife LSD. So no camber plates for me.

What kind of caster were you running when your camber was -2.2°?

I might actually jump on this.
Any opportunities to get a group buy going?

You should expect an increase of about 1/3 of an inch.

Yes. The camber plates will allow you to go to -3 degrees of camber on your coilovers.

Yes you can.

The only difference is that you will not have the same access to adjust them once they have been installed. You will have to remove and re-install the strut assembly each time you want to adjust your camber. If you do not plan to change the camber setting frequently, then it would be a good alternate install option for you.

I'm looking at getting H&R or KW coilovers and these camber plates. Is there anything from my stock setup I would have to reuse? It would be nice to not have to tear down shocks.

Anyone else get a little tight in the pants reading GwynneCorkSport talk about camber and then looking over at her avatar picture.

Maybe the Afghan sun is getting to me.

The KW require you to keep the bearing that comes with their coilovers. I am not sure on the H&R. When you installed them did they re-use the stock upper bearing? If so you will need to swap that over to the camber plates but that should be it.

Just got my CS camber plates installed yesterday - some very high quality parts!

Oh and can you say holy wheel gap Batman! It looks like it adds more than 1/3" in height - looks more like 1/2" but I didn't take measurements to be accurate... Looks like I'll be dropping my coils a bit lol... And don't ask about how much camber I have, cuz the suspension place set them to stock specs since I don't autox...

If you don't really care how much camber you have, then why did you drop $300+ on front camber plates??

yup, your machining is off by a few mm's from being a perfect fit with the lower plate. It looks like it centers and holds fine with the pillowball nut
