Default Corksport Rear Sway Bar install (pics)

Alright finally got around to installing my rear sway bar on my Genpu. install took all of 10 minutes once it was on the lift. i did use air tools tho.

first time i've had it on the lift

stock bar connected to end link. 3 bolts on this side to remove. repeat on other side

Stock Vs Corksport (i like the difference)

CorkSport Sway Bar in place and looking sexy. 3 bolts to tighten down. repeat on other side

dont forget to lube it all up

First impressions: It feels good. helps a ton with the body roll and i only have it in the middle setting. Great mod, Great piece, Easy install. i say go for it.

For people who have this on, how well does it eliminate the understeer thinking I'll go with JBR

Helps a lot with reducing understeer. Feels like the car is on rails.

Is it just me, or does the Corksport bar actually look shorter in overall length than the stock bar?

its bc that stock bar has a funky ass curve in it. i should have taken a pic with them lined up on the other side but they are the same length with the bolt holes

I notice that the stock bars have a clamp on each side that sits just inside the clamps that stops the bar sliding sideways inside the bushings

Each time we go around a corner the bar must first be sliding to one side before it starts doing its job and flexing.... I wonder if we would get even better results by stoping the bar from sliding??

Our bars have collars included so the bar does not move side to side. Movement has really nothing to do with how it works though. Without collars it will hit the chassis.

do you recommend New End-links for rear sway or is that really only necessary for the front?

Rear oem endlinks are tough and will take a lot of punishment. No need to replace them. Besides all the aftermarket endlinks are noisy (unless you regrease them on a regular basis) due to a different joint design than the oem ones.

I have the JBR bar, I still have it on the medium setting. It feels fairly neutral can still induce off throttle oversteer. I'll probably move it to the stiffest setting later.

Sway Bar is installed. All i can say is yes, yes, yes. This thing is amazing. Car feels so much better on the edge. It is very balanced and understeer is almost completely eliminated .

Order the Front sway bar?

How fast you need to be in order to get the off throttle oversteer? Bcse I tried it at low speed and it's not happening, only on track and auto-x. I'm still getting surprised when the rear goes in and out.

So more details could help here. Thx

I'll get JBR's Sway before any other suspension mods.

CS is good too but some stuff must be bought from Jamie.
