my mods are:
cpe-e nano intake,pg tip,3.5 ETS tmic and of course AP stage 1 93 octane.
It just seemed that evrything was great and then I've done a couple of logs the last few days and my LTFT's are out of wack.
Since you offered I will shoot you a PM and maybe you can help me get started. I'm at work right now.

Thanks again.

Just got my AP and tried stage1+cpN+TIH 91 map..

omg the car feels so different... i drove it for like 15 mins only... but the car feels so.. faster and smoother... it's especially gotten much smoother during gear changes...

i need to drive about 20 miles before doing 3rd gear data logging right? im so excited!!

one question though, i'm trying to install the ap manager program on my work comp and i'm keep on getting error. i installed it fine on my home computer last night..

this is the error message.

The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.

Continuiing your installation of this software may inpair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the software vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing.

What should i do?

I did, but when I connect the ap to the comp, the ap manager can't find the device.

You may try disabling the usb port and re-enabling it.

right click the start button>explore>control panel>system>hardwaretab>devicemanager>usbcontroll ers

right click the usb contoller, disable , then re-enable

Idk, it's hard to tell anything from the logs you took. You don't really even get into OL that much, so it's hard to look at your AFRs.

If you're doing a WOT 3rd gear pull, you can go from 2.5k to redline. Or at least I do.

Also, 100F intake temps? How is it 90 degrees in LA right now? It's like 50F here on the east coast - hasn't even broken ~85F yet anywhere north of GA from what I can tell.

Subbed for some WOT logs. You can set your AP to flash at your desired shift point (6500 for me), so with the tach being as inacurate as it is, I'd go off of that. IIRC it reads around 7.1k or 7.2k on the dash when you're at 6500.

It was 90 degrees today in LA... bahahaha crazy... my intake temps is super high, huh? I've been looking at a lot of logs from other members and everyone had something between 30-60 degrees.. so I thought my car is acting weird or something..

And I don't know why but my car shoots some serious load of black smoke when I go WOT.

Anyway, I'll do it from 2.5k to redline and post the logs here!

Thank you man.

Well my lowest intake temps were 51F - but it was in the 40's outside.

FWIW, my intake temps are usually ~10F above ambient, and I have the K&N SRI.

I imagine your intake temps will be higher if you've been sitting in traffic for a while, just b/c of heat buildup in the engine bay.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your hardware, it's just hot as shit in LA apparently. If you have the balls, I'd do a 4th gear pull. Only thing about those is 4th gear tops out at ~115 mph and I don't have a radar detector, so I go off of 3rd gear pulls (3rd tops out at ~82 mph). They work pretty well for tuning purposes, but 4th works better, for reasons that have been explained to me but I have since forgotten.

Love the photos of your car btw. Did you paint your stockers? I might have one of your photos as the background to my phone lol.

Yeah, I was sitting in the traffic a lot and noticed the intake temp just goes up and up as I sat there. But it did go down quiet a bit when I started going.

I won't be able to do 4th gear log.. There are so many cops in LA freeways.. Maybe next time when I go out to desert area, I'll do the 4th gear pull for sure! I actually want to do the maximum speed run, but I dont have balls to take the consequences of getting ticketed doind that shit. lol

Thanks for the compliment regarding my pics. I love photography and I try my best when I do shoot. I didn't paint my stockers! Why? Does it look different?

And feel free to use my pics on anything. lol

Nah, I just have a photo someone took of their painted stockers as my cell phone pic - thought it was you. That guy was using an HDR lens too I think. I don't know a lot about photography, but I think that's what it's called.

I did a WOT run, 1st-4th, but I ran out of balls and road going into 5th. I topped it out at 118 mph, but I also got 3 degrees of KR in 5th b/c I was heatsoaked so bad (... I think...)

If you can do a top speed run, with the AP and an intake, I don't doubt you'll see 165, especially when these cars can do 155 stock. I saw a gain of 55 g/s with intake+AP, which is significant apparently. I'm still new to this though, so idk just to be safe.

I hear ya about cops being a bitch. It's the unfortunate reality of public roads. There's a kid named Jake Goose-a-witz (I can't spell his real name, my bad) who was killed a while ago doing 140 in NJ in his STI when his tire blew out and he hit a median. Now, I dunno how big of a difference there is between having a tire blow out at 120 and 140, but I'm fine with doing 3rd gear logs after reading about that.

FWIW, if you wanna tune for max power, you're gonna need a load bearing chassis dyno. Our cars have enough sensors and such that a street tune isn't really that much of a compromise (it isn't a compromise if you aren't running meth IMO) though.

Just did the logs! Not sure what the results look like, but the car surely feels so much smoother and faster..

Please look at them for me! Thank you guys! All 3rd gear pull.

EDIT: dont look at the datalog15! it was a failed one.

What map are you using? The only thing of concern I saw is that your fuel pressure dropped to ~1200 psi at WOT in log 17, but it isn't as bad as some other fuel pumps I've seen. If you have ATR, I'd take a look at your fueling tables, maybe lean them up a little bit.

You're also seeing 19 psi at moments, which is 1 psi higher than the 93 octane map, and 1.5 higher than the 91 octane map (which I think you're using, being on the west coast and all), so you're either gonna want to decrease your boost dynamics table (idk how well that would work, I haven't tried), or reduce your WG Duty Cycles table in the appropriate rpm range (4500 onwards). Remember, the throttle position maxes out at ~74, so the last few rows of that table aren't used.

So, the tune looks good, but would be much better with some very minor tweaking. I'd do a MAF batch log to get my fuel trims as close to zero as possible, then decrease my wgdc between 4500 and the rest of the table, and then request slightly leaner AFRs in my Fuel OL/WOT (No Knock A) and Fuel OL/WOT (No Knock B) tables.

Those 3 things and you'll be golden as far as fuel pressure and not overshooting your boost targets.

15 was just fail like you noticed. On 16 you didn't go wot until 3800 and let off at like 5000. You did got wot sooner on 17, a grand total of 100 rpm's sooner.

Does anyone know what factors would be different on a TMIC map vs. a FMIC map? If everything else was the same. Im running the Stage2+cpCAI+TIH+TMIC 93 BTv100B map and getting my FMIC installed tomorrow. My AP broke again and cant change the map untill i get it back from Cobb. I know it'll be ok to run this map untill i get it back but what settings are different between a TMIC and a FMIC map?

I don't believe there is really anything different, I have a TMIC and am running a map that says FMIC. The biggest difference you'll see is lower BAT's therefore be able to run more timing.

FMIC map has higher load targets but less timing than the TMIC map

The FMIC map actually does run more timing, BUT the load is much higher therefore you see less timing because it's in a different load table.

Nicall10 either way I believe you won't see any issues running your same map with a FMIC.

Amazon knows his shit too, he helped me understand when and where to add timing to my map. Now my car pulls hard as shit to redline!

Yea, forgot to add that. As load increases, timing decreases. Technically the same timing, but on the road it will be less.

So when i get my AP back i could just change my ignition table to the one meant for FMIC? and thats it?

EDIT: On second thought maybe i could send my map to someone who knows what they are doing and they can change it for me?

Not even that complicated, simply upload the stge2+ fmic map from Cobb's website onto your AP.

Their intakes having issues, RMMs breaking. Dunno why people keep buying their products in droves. The intake issues have been going on for awhile now and people are still waiting in line to buy them. I dont get it.

If they had completed the R & D they claimed to have done, wouldn't they have discovered the issue long ago?

Im running the Stage1+cpN+TIH 91 map.

Which thread do i have to study to learn about ATR?

And I guess I dont have to run the STAGE2 safe mode since the results isnt too bad huh? Im still getting the autotech internals as soon as it gets available next month though!

Dude thanks for taking a look at my logs and giving me some good insights.
