I can only say that versatune is also developing. I prefer cobb because i can do boost based tune, but if there wont be a release soon i have to go VT(if they finish first).
BTW i like the idea of ebnash:thumbup:

They wouldn't be able to do time/date.

The ECU in the MS3 itself isn't able to do that. It only knows how long it has been on.

You could do it if the AP itself had something in it recording time, but then it would need a battery to be able to do that.

They could potentially add the feature in, but without the battery on the AP you'd have to manually input the date/time every time you plug the device in.

David@COBB - how close are we to the load based 80% IDC cap resolution release? Temperatures are dropping so this would be a good time to have this implemented.

I am currently forcing WGDC, but this results in significant morning/afternoon pull load differences up top due to ~20-30°F ambient temp differences.

This next release has been a bit more than work than anticipated (to encompass model years of different countries).

I'm going to have to run through the work of the other engineer to make sure it got included, but I hope to have some good news for you guys in the upcoming month

Upcoming month? Damn... so this season is maybe over for me without tune. My car has only summer licence from April to October here in germany So only one month left.
But nice to here that you still working... i already thought that nothing will happen.

Sounds funny but is common in germany. With a summer license you can save here a lot of taxes and insurance fees for your car. If you drive a car here, you MUST have an insurance for it. Otherwise you wont get a lincense plate! Insurance and taxes on a high HP car here in germany is very expensive.

I'd rather pay more for gas, live in an area where i can WALK everywhere and have a "metro system" than pay 4 dollars per gallon; 12 out of those 15 gallons used is just put-putting around town not even having fun. F that. i'd rather walk to the market, get fresh food, then walk home. walk to theater. take subway to school/work. walk/subway to friend's place(s). Works better that way. Whatever.

I wasn't designed to be driving so much everywhere. I should move to the bigger cities :P

I would gladly pay $8.10 a gallon to have access to the very best roads in the world occupied by drivers that know how to drive and have an etiquette/code. In the USA we cry at $4/gallon gas, run into each other, but then again there is hardly any major travel infrastructure besides our degrading highways (unless you are in a big city of course).

Tune: My own (based on the v210 and v231 Cobb OTS maps but ramped way up)

Street creds:
- Fastest known K04/93 MS3/driver with only an AP, CDFP upgrade, intake, and tune | 13.37@106.83mph on stock Dunlops (2.04 sec 60' time, full curb weight, 75*F ambient temp)
- Has gone an indicated 146mph on three occasions now.

Yes I will help you tune your K04/pump gas car; I have much less experience than the major players but I also charge you $0 and can turn you around quickly. 4 satisfied customers and counting...

Any chance of maybe putting out a beta release of the AP firmware, like you've done in the past? Will this next release have any progress on fixing the SWAS issues?

Just disconnect your SWAS easiest fix for it.

On Genpu it causes issues with the powersteering pump, which is why we are waiting for an update from Cobb.

Not sure if this has been suggested or not, but anyways...

Wondering if it would be possible for you guys to make it possible for us to be able to quickly toggle two (or more) sets of datalog parameters on the ap.

Just feel like it would make it easier (more convenient) when logging. Mainly because I often want to take a maf log and a wot log back to back. Just hate having to pull off to the side of the road to change all the log parameters.

Obviously not as high on the list as some of the other stuff in here. But just an idea.

Any chance we can get the tip-in and cold start enrichment tables?

My AFR goes lean briefly at low flows when initially moving the gas pedel, which causes some stumbling/sputtering. This is mostly an issue after a cold start, and I would love to tune it right out...

It's not so bad. I switched my SWAS off with a toggle switch shortly after I bought the car, probably 10k miles ago. You get used to it. I don't mind anymore. I only notice when it's raining hard and I turn the SWAS back on. Holy power steering batman, it's like a different car at low speeds.

A launch control that doesn't use fuel cut would be nice, or allow us to make our own. Let us make it super rich and advance the crap out of the timing and spool the turbo. Or just pour the fuel in but don't fire the spark at all, misfire into the turbo and spool it. Fuel cut is a really slow way to make a 2-step. I turned mine off. Working FFS obviously would be nice.

I'd like to see a warm-up enrichment table so I can richen the fuel mixture when the coolant is below a certain threshold. Right now on cold starts the car uses my lean cruise AFRs and a cold car is not a happy car with those fuel settings.

The other thing as mentioned by others is the annoying SWAS for GenPu.
