maf cal logs look weird 3 Attachment(s) ok did my three log to cal my maf but they dont look right. should my maf g/s be higher? i did a 2000k to 6500k in second gear slow roll into the throttle and didnt go into boost.. or are the logs fine? |

the maf cal is done from 2 gear 1500rpm 0-130gs slowly accelerate up to 130gs then let off, let the car idle for a few seconds and hit the gas up to 30gs and stop the log. you defenitely need a maf calc |
I got rid of the other parameter to make it easier to read since you don't need than. Second gear pull from 2k to 6500k. Should I have given it more throttle. My maf g/s didn't ever hit 100. |
First u need to start at a lower rpm and make sure your reading 3g's when u start, your log starts at like 11 and is missing an entire bracket. Also its a bit tricky at first but yeah you need to give it more gas basically. |
Will take some better logs tomorrow. so basically giving it just enough gas but not building any boost. |
Best way I think to do it is start from a dead stop in 2nd and get to the point where u are rolling without holding the clutch or giving gas. Look a gs on yor ap n u should be at 3/4gs. Hit the log button wait like 1.5 sec. Then start rolling on the gas more n more till u pass 100gs, if you still have gear left take it till you run out. Lift your foot, coast a bit, give it a quick blip and end the log. Truthfully I never realize if Im in boost or not because its irrelevent. Your tryn to take readings of the gs gradually growing. |

4 Attachment(s) Attachment 50973 Attachment 50974 Attachment 50975 Attachment 50976 got some more logs. some are a little bumpy but 4 and 7 are not bad let me know what you think. |
Bump |
Number 4 is the only one I would use to base any changes off of. You are basically right on the edge of the +/-8% window that COBB suggests. Most guys try and shoot for +/-4%. It shows you are pulling a little over 7% of fuel out. You will want to go in and alter those MAF voltages accordingly. then just flash and giver her some key cycles and city driving and monitor the LTFTs and see where they settle down to. Jason |

you should have at least 3 logs that have close to the same info to base your adjustments off of. if you just change stuff based on one log, there still variables that can make it so your adjustments arent that good. get 3 with similar readings then go from there (if that makes sense) |

maf g/s, rpm, ltft get 3 logs that all look similar (ie; doing the logs the same throttle/speed/rpm all that shit 3 times) and it will make your changes a lot easier :alcoholic::alcoholic: |
still need help with this. need to reflash my car. when i redid all my calcs in atr and under abilors tuning guide it tells you to copy maf table a and paste into maf table b. well in my atr there is no maf table b... do i just flash it anyway or is there a feature i need to turn on? maybe @rfinkle2 or @Bucker |
