Quick Question Related to AP Cable

I've noticed that the connection between the AP cable and the OBDII port is kinda tight. There aren't any issues with leaving the AP cable plugged in all the time (and tucking the cable in the little pocket) and just connect the AP when I need to log or flash maps?

I doubt there are any issues with but I wanted to double check... sorry for the noobish question.

Thanks.

Nope. Most just leave the cable plugged into the car, and only connect the AP when they want to use it. The cable doesn't have any active electronics in it.
