5% Tint = about 25 ish HP
Debadging your mazdaspeed3 emblem = 15 ish HP

even using a search button on MSF will give you some HP man.

Funny thing is I made almost the exact same thread when I first got on here.

My thread was titled "cheapest way to 300whp" - it basically was people describing the various ways my engine would fail catastrophically.

I am new to this forum...BUT I am a big research nerd.....I love my setup ... Cobb AP v106 tweaked stage 2 map, Cobb DP ,Cobb TIP /SRI , HKS CBE , Turbosmart dual port /full recirc. BOV , SU TopMount w/boost tubes..I also recommend the Streetunit Full Engine Mount Kit which will put most of all the power to the wheels , eliminates wheel hop and the engine barely moves at all during WOT.......I also have the Denso ITV22 1 step colder plugs , I find my car running smoother and more efficiently...These mods should have my car at close to 300 hp, I have not dynoed it yet ,but it feels pretty freakin fast !!

DP isnt needed. stock IC will be sufficient with 18psi.

an upgraded TMIC will be a great idea, but not needed. HPFP is more nessessary.

no. bats seem to climb to about 110 during a nice 3rd-5th pull. i know the stock tmic and exhaust are my biggest restriction. funds are low and ill be taking care of that soon enough

I don't know about exactly hitting 300 but I am going this route:

Test Pipe
Turbo Inlet Pipe
TMIC
Tune when we get some 2nd gen lovin

If a dude with a 2nd gen come and asks how to get 300WHP and you just start talking about AP's, then they think "Cool let me get to ordering shit" and then we have to essplain why they cannot haz AP. It just confuses peeps is all I'm sayin'.

BTW for cooling, get meth. I wasn't gonna go that route but I'm glad I did - the car feels so much nicer with it. I'm also running stock TMIC until CP-E releases their FMIC for the 2nd Gens.

OP: Now that we've all vented, pissed on each other and otherwise addressed your failure to do your own due diligence, may I humbly suggest that you simply copy the setup of 9900rpm on this board.

He seems to have the best performing 2010, to my knowledge, and seems to be advancing the ball on what can be done on the gen 2 car as new mods become available while keeping away from zoom, zoom, boom unsafe mods.

So, OP is getting a lot of help with his question.?

With options available for gen 2 still somewhat limited, I'd say go with any good SRI or CAI, add a catless dp/rp combo into the stock CBE. Add a rear motor mount for reliability. If running in high summer heat consider one step colder plugs. Won't get you to 300 whp, but will get you up to about 280 or so. Stick with the stock BPV.

FMIC may push you into load cut at 17.5 to 18 psi, which the catless dp/rp would raise OP to, but will probably help keep power up in the heat and reduce frequency of heat soak.

Beyond this, gen 2 will need a tuning option to reach 300 whp based on my limited knowledge of options available the gen 2 at this time.
