Default CEL during road trip, random cylinder misfires?

Soooo late last night on the way back from a road trip to ATX, I noticed a check engine light come on. We switched drivers and I checked for codes on my AP and noticed a "PCM" code as well as a "cylinder misfire" code. Although I couldn't sense any sort of loss of power or hear misfires I decided to switch back to stock (stage 0) map. CEL went away and the car drove like it always has. From my searching, I've deduced it may be due to spark plug gap or possibly running rich. NOTE: I have HPFP internals and have been running a stage 1 cobb OTS map for 2 weeks before this happened. I data logged and fuel pressure was above 1700 and had 0 KR. Also, this happened within minutes of me refilling with Shell 93 octane. What could be the cause of this? I drove back home on the stock map and so far no codes and engine seems fine. Refilled with 93 but have yet to reflash to stage 1.
