Like I said son, your reading comprehension must be lacking. I already told you I'm quite happy with my 2010. You (and what looks like several other 1st gen owners) are the ones who apparently feel the need to come on the 2nd Gen boards and defend your model.

Does holding down the dsg button before starting really do anything? Do you get more boost in 1st and 2nd or just turn the traction control off?

I know it does absolutely nothing on the 2nd gen, and have heard conflicting info about the 1st gen. Some say it disables DSC and traction control, others say that's just a rumor that ran rampant on the interwebz.

Anyways, what is up with the gen1 vs gen2 hating? Well, it's mostly gen1 owners hating on gen2 owners. This thread for example; gen1 owners swarming and discrediting gen2, and posting "no thanks" to anyone with pro 2010 post. I swear, I brought this up to my friend who has a gen1 last week. Why can't we all just get along like me and him? I appreciate and love his gen1 like it's mine, and vice versa! Heck, he even helps me install my recently bought parts.

Anyways, back on topic.

Anybody with 2010 here with an SRI, TIP, and TESPIPE/racepipe mods that has gone to the dyno yet? I'd like to know what I'm running with these mods.

Good post 16, I mean god forbid anyone buy a 2010 and LIKE it....What a concept.. I undersdtand Gen 1 owners like their car but I bought a 2010 b/c its 2010 lol. Obviously both of these gen's are great cars. The car makes roads that suck fun again.
