Default Exhaust fitment

Ok guys I originally was going to post this in the engine section but I thought that if somebody has similar set we can make a how to. My current setup is I have a cpe stage 2 rmm, cpe catted Downpipe and corksport catback. My question is if you have this setup of TBE does the mount effect fitment from pushing the bottom of the engine forward or is there a pipe length deference between the different companies of downpipe and exhaust as my current setup pulls the exhaust forward and hits wear it makes the first 90 degree turn going to the rear. And sometimes hits at my center brace. If there is a trick adjustment or just something I need to be aware of I would like to know as I think this may be a popular combination and it just sounds Freakin beast. If you have any thoughts put them hear.

I hope you have internals with that downpipe.

There's been posts regarding this issue on other exhausts already.

Default torque

Yeah to be honest I don't have internals yet but if you have the torque phone ap which actually pretty good with our cars it is one of the cheapest ways to data monitor. And I will say this much if and only if the temp outside gets down to around about 50ish do I see a problem with going wide open. This is next on the list AT internals and Cobb AP but for now its flippin hot out side. And by all means I am not saying every body can go out and just throw turbo back on and just run the shit out of it. I am simply tring to solve so problems with my exhaust setup. If there are treads on this I have been looking through other treads for something similar. Please link me

Do a search for speed daddy
Exhaust. And you're insane for not having internals. What's the point of monitoring? So you can replay the zzb?

Sounds like you need the exhaust bearing gasket from Autozone.

A. Heat is the enemy of turbo cars
B. Cooler temps is the friend of turbo cars

Op, seriously, all joking aside, I'd yank that dp off if I were you until I got those internals in ASAP. That torque app, whether it works good or not, won't stop whats coming.

Default all talk

That's right little boys just little words on my screen. You let me worry about how I will achieve that 1600 or more psi. In the mean time really like the info I have found so far. Cant wait to start tuning with a pump, AP and intake!!! And for the cold air comment you need to think about what is happening hear. I think we all realize that cool air is good for our cars at the same time if you are at the point where running the stock pump is questionable then as air temperatures drop the ecm must add fuel for afr. At this point that temp is where I see a change. However when this happens so far I have not seen afr go up at all. I think some us do need some hard love with getting pumps!!!

This setup is really nice I just think if the downpipe was a 1/4" - 1/2" inch longer so it does not pull on the exhaust. When I first bolted it up I noticed it right away just looking at it. The quality of these two products for our cars is very high. I started wounding if the flex tube in the Downpipe can it be stretched. One would think it would be difficult to try and do this while in vehicle but if you are considering doing this I would see if the flex joint in the Downpipe can be pulled on and stretched. Just measure before and after. If you can get between the measurements stated above I realy think the fit and finish of these two products would be excellent. Between the power and sound I would say go for it.

If you've pulled the lead to your car battery, it'll reset the ECU to the same state that a reflash would.

There is no black box on these cars.
