FYI guys - I had rear camber arms installed a few months ago and we pulled out a degree of camber from each side. Now I'm running -1.5 in the rear and still no rubbing ever. No correction up front with -1.0 exactly on each side.

@xb2ms3;

He's running 245's on evos no drop and rubs in the rear.

I ran a few months ago on WORK rims 18x8.5 with a 43 offset on 245's rs3's. I rolled my fenders with H&R springs and rubbed in the rear like crazy. It all depends on the tire I think. Those rs3's were 9.75" wide.

It doesn't rub anymore in the back since for some reason my stock camber arms are at -3.

Sure its the same aspect ratio? I run 245/40. But yes, measurements can vary a little from company to company in the same size

Good set up man. I think I might jack your setup on some different wheels.

Yeah same size I have conti dws 245/40 in front And same size sumitono a/s in rear.

Over time my negative camber has gone more negative. I have pics of when I first put the wheels on it was pretty straight. About -1 degree, it rubbed as it slowly progressed to -3 now it doesn't rub. Im on stock suspension. I noticed probably about -1.5 to -2 would be the sweet spot where it won't rub depending on the tire.

Summer tires have a much stiffer and wider shoulder than all season tires. Sizing can vary quite a lot between manufacturers. The conti dws runs pretty small compared to sumintomo and the kumho ecsta xs I have run about 9.5 inches wide from edge to edge in the same size.

We measured the hankook rs3 and they run about a quarter inch wider on the same size tire.

Yea, there tends to be a lot of "it depends" with these things...the camber arms are never a bad idea evn with a mild street driven FWD on springs. It looks like I have more room for less rear camber but this is good enough. A friend and I installed, measured the car and the floor in the same spot with each adjustment to get as close as possible to even on both sides. Once I got an alignment soon after, I saw we had a perfect -1.5 already. Adjusting on the car is a pain...
