Does anyone else think these wheels are sick?? I have heard of them but never knew they had a flat bronze. 17x8 are only 17.95#s. They also have 17x9 or do you think 17x8 are wide enough?

Even though I usually prefer a 5-spoke design, on a MS3 those are the best wheels IMO. Love the bronze too, although I wish they were more of a gold.

late to the party..
@rfinkle2 has these, they look baller in the bronze on black pu.

But, they have transitioned to the almost over-done phase since then. Kinda like rpf1s, which are overdone and look like shit on 3s vs tsws look good, yet the rpf1s still enjoy more fanbois here. This puzzles me.

I'd still rock the nurburgrings though... not bad looks for the price.

RPF1 popularity is due to functionally. They are one of the lightest wheels available and not very expensive.

The Nurburgrings are fairly light (3-4 lbs less per wheel than stock) and are rotary forged.

Although just because they are forged doesn't mean you can't bend them easily. NJ potholes FTL. I have already had to replace 1 of the wheels due to a slight bend.

Didnt know that many ms3 are rocking these wheels. Have yet to see one. I look around in the wheel & tire section but yet to see them. They were just one of many. I liked them bc they look well made and very clean. You know sometimes if you look at a set of rims and the edges and corners maybe rough or not that smooth. I guess thats the forged manufacturing part of these wheels that make them look that way. Hell i may just rock out the same damm rims i had on my msp. Kosei K1 TS. Its right there in my avatar..

Also 8" or 9" wide rims?? I was thinking 8" is good. Why go wide and run a heavier wheel if you dont need it..

I have the same wheels in gunmetal. It's the only set that I thought would look better than stock.

To clean them, or to dress them?

To clean them: Eagle one A2Z is a great over the counter tire and wheel cleaner.

To dress them: usually Adams polishes VRT (vinyl, rubber and tire)

other good tire dressings available over the counter:

Surf City Garage Beyond black (more matte finish)
Any Mothers dressings are usually excellent

Scoobs likes this.

No need to roll fenders and there is no rub. Finkle and i have the same set up although I am not sure if the tires are the same anymore. This might give you a better idea.

So which sticks out further, the tire, or the rim? Looks like rim in that last shot. @rfinkle2

The rim does but not by much. My next set will be at least 245's instead of the 235's.

And 245's won't rub either? I really don't want to roll fenders, but want wider rubber.

I am 95% sure they won't. There are a few Gen2's that are lowered and have 245's and have no issues. I am lowered and there is plenty of room.

It won't rub... plenty o' room.

the wheels themselves already 1" wider than stockers, but I might eventually get 245's also.

I'm tentatively planning on staying at stock height. Would love to go 245 without rubbing. You guys give me hope. Do the larger tires negate the weight savings due to the tsw's?

I think if you go with 245's you are probably around the same weight as the stock set up but you are also gaining a lot of grip, especially considering how shitty the stock tires can be at times.

Wondering if anyone has pics of these on a liquid silver?

Looking to get some for the new years, wrap em around 245's and feel awesome.

I don't care if every one and there mom has them. They were the only rim I wanted as they just look so nice on the Gen2.
