Default What rims & tires?

I have a 2012 mazdaspeed3 I want to get xxr 530 18x8.75 +33. But what tires do I put on any recommendations? I live in Southern California there isn't that much rain to worry about. Also will I have to get my fenders rolled? It will be on stock suspension when I first get them. I don't know much about rims and tires, that's why I decided to post about it, thanks for any feedback.

Sir, please change the term rims to wheels.

Also, Nitto NT05 or RE71 seem to be of choice.

I myself used to own XXR 530s with the exact same specs. Let me tell you man, you're going to have to roll your fenders flat and cut bumper tabs. Read: A lot of work

So in all honesty should I just get the xxr 530 18x7.5 +38? It has the same width as stock wheel which is 18x7.5 +52.5.

Depends. With that offset and width, you will have less of a concave look.

You are going to be 14.5mm closer to the brakes and suspension...... I would run spacers

Are there any cons to spacers, I've heard any type of aggressive driving is not good on spacers. What do you think?

You won't need spacers for that offset.

I use 5mm spacers. No problem. It's a problem if you use spacers that are bigger than 5mm without extended studs.

Aggressive driving on quality hub centric spacers is perfectly fine should you have 12.9+ grade hardware installed. OEM wheels studs are not adequate for spacers + aggressive driving. With a lower offset, you will not need spacers. That is misinformation you can positively ignore. The wheel will be more flush with the body lines & fenders compared to stock.

Its not 38mm more offset than stock.... its +38 compared to +52.5, a -14mm differential.
To answer your question OP, spacers can be an issue if you do not have enough thread engagement on your studs. as long as you have enough thread you should be good.

This is what you posted.

I am well aware of how offset works man. How is a +38 going to be closer to the brake and suspension compared to +52?

Lower offset WILL bring the wheels outside and not inside.

Then if u dont want all the work, i'd suggest getting something 8" with +38 at the most. U're still going to have to roll your fenders but prob wont be as much as your first option

So 18x8+38. And as far as rolling fenders you can roll the back fenders on the speed3 right? Because this dude on YouTube had his front rolled and they cut the back and it was a hack job. He had 18x8.5 on coils not sure on offset

I have 18x8 et35 lowered on corksport springs on koni orange struts. I don't rub even with 4 people in the car. (No fender rolling done). I also run the stock tire size.
