Default For anyone wondering..

The PAC OEM, Premium Sound System Interface.

Model AOEM-MAZ2 Works perfect with the 2010 Speed3 NON-Bose equiped stereo system. Has two RCA out puts and an Amp turn on wire.

Little confusion if it would work with the non-bose system vehicles, the company didn't know.. So i bit the bullet and got lucky I guess. Directly plug and play no extra connectors or wires. With a little persuasion it fit under the Headunit completely.

Tried this last night on my '10 speed3 non-Bose. Everything worked great UNTIL I turned the key off...the amp didn't shut down and I got massively loud feedback through the sub. I had to disconnect the power to the sub to get the feedback to stop. I used the turn-on lead from the PAC for the amp. Did you do that when you installed this? I really can't think why the amp wouldn't shut off.

Ok. So the feedback stops after a few seconds if I leave the stereo on when I turn off the ignition. If I turn off the stereo and wait two seconds before turning off the ignition, I don't get the feedback. Strange. I'm running a Phoenix Gold 2x50 amp. Has anyone else had this issue?

Haven't had a issue with mine at all. Might be a issue with one of your wires holding a charge? I don't know. Could be the PAC OEM itself.. Trace the wires see if you find any rips, or tears in it. See if its grounding out on something..

If not.. send the PAC OEM in, or Just run the amp threw a different 12volt signal.

Stranger than fiction...the loud feedback noise is now gone. I have no idea why or how. I didn't change anything. I guess I should just enjoy, but I can't help but wonder why it was doing that?

Probably a bad ground. That's the reason I've always gotten feedback with systems in my cars.
