(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Replacing it fixed everything temporarily, but now the same issues are back this week with a new symptom of down to single digit mpg when out of boost. It's higher under boost for what ever reason. Yes this is from the "inaccurate" info screen, but up until Thursday it never dropped to less then 6. I'm seeing less then 4.0 numbers while rolling idle to stop lights. Could my fuel pump be overloaded with just intake, inlet and muffler delete (unsure if the denso itv 22's add to this equation) I've cleaned MAF, checked for vacuum leaks, put stock bov back on. The denso's were put in less the 1500 miles ago. This will be repair attempt 2 for this problem, so maybe I'll get lucky and end up with a mythical unicorn slayer in the coming month('s).

One of the nator locals put in itv22's with just intake, inlet and rmm at the beginning if the year and hasn't had a single problem, so I'm thinking I have something else going on with the failboat. my car is part of that 1% where everything is failing though, so much that the dealership knows me on a first name basis.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Did you check the gap on the plugs before you put them in? Fixing the vapor leak may have fixed it temporarily because the battery was unplugged during the service. By the end of the week the fuel trims had been relearned. Change the plugs out for the stock ones and see what happens. |

my shit was delivered set up for fail. it falls apart at idle. to add to the fail...got something going on with rear axle, or a cv boot. while on my way home from work this morning i had some crazy wheel hop at 15 mph on a dry road while out of boost. one of my front boots were replaced and i have the same symptoms now, but it was 10 times worse and sounded like someone was kicking the fuck out of the underside of the back of my car. happened multiple times after but without the noise. the cars been bouncy as shit the past week. have a list of like 10 different problems that are going on to take to the dealer later.

If the vehicle is in and out of the authorized repair shop for repair of one or more different problems for 15 or more cumulative days it took them 9-10 days to fix my broken on delivery clutch after I drove it less then 20 miles.

| Not Ranked : 0 score OP, sounds like they didn't do a good PDI on your car (predelivery inspection). All of what you mentioned, especially the first clutch issue, should have been caught then. I don't think I would have taken the car if the thing failed on me right away. Same shit happened to my neighbor with an RX8. Clutch shattered the first week he got the car. They had it for a week doing the clutch. Lemon law varies state to state, but I know that it always has to be the same problem 3 times, and they will buy back on the 4th time. In NJ, I know that each repair has to be documented (which it always is), and has to all happen within a 12 month period. Also, I think if they keep the car for over 31 days or something, it may qualify as well. Good luck! Keep us posted.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Finally stocked out and went to dealership... Suspension/or wtf ever at drivers side rear of car: they have no idea. We couldn't replicate it driving, They couldn't find anything fucked up after lifting the car. Then it happened twice on my way home. So I'm driving till what ever breaks I guess. Running like shit: hasn't happened yet while stock, but will prolly show it's self in a few days once trims are learned. Burning smell: no clue, but i can hear something rattling while under boost on way home. Pending turbo fail maybe? Other: found torn/ripped center of cp-e rmm after it came off the car.

The noise my shits making happens more often when my foots on the gas then not, and i can definitely smell gas afterwards. back to dealership I go...

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have an 2010 MS3. i put on a COBB SRI, Turbo inlet, Downpipe and Racepipe. Everything was cool until i put on the downpipe then, i got the infamous P0171 for about two weeks, then sputtering and power loss at high boost. Today i got a burning smell, no power, knocking at idle and loud knocking when i push my my clutch in. WTFO? Anyone know WTF is going on? i dont race my car at all, just daily drive. Is this happening to anyone else? |
