It looks exactly like what Mazda has been doing with their Powerplant Frame for 25 years.

Edit: ˅ Fuck that guy.

The PPF (Power Plant Frame) has been on the Miata since its inception.

haha well egg on my face then. after seeing the 2016 miata I looked up a GTR and corvette chassis for comparison is what led me to that statement, only prominent things at glance to me were driveshafts and exhaust. To be fair I did say "I don't see that bracing on OTHER (non miata) rwd cars" (:

Anyway, I like it minus the circle tail lights. Throws off the back. I'd buy it though.

Nope you were insinuating it needs more power as in there is never enough. My joke went over your head, without knowing if there is a turbo or how big it might be it might be a silly statement.

We know it won't happen but what if they announce a Mazdaspeed version with 400 hp would it really need a bigger turbo?

But if they labled it a Mazdaspeed as you initially mentioned, then why would we change the name of the forum? And what too?

You dumbasses would trust Mazda to boost a miata to that much power? You can do it on your own with any stock miata long block better than they ever could.

I was talking about 240hp. I didn't see the quote about 400. I'd love to see these fwd queens attempt to drive a miata with 400hp. That would be hilarious. Would probably need 800hp to run 10s too.

Motor behind the shock towers, mid - front engine layout. This may be the best MX5 from a driving excitement standpoint.

And that's the point of it right? I'm starting to really admire this car. It just wants to do ONE thing well when every other vehicle tries to be too much.

I agree with this for the most part, though I'd think that doing their Mazda Connect is overkill, and the car still doesn't need cupholders.
