All of the drama over the last year, seeing people fall out and all the fighting/bickering has been very upsetting to me. When I joined, shit wasn't like this; and what it was, was what made me engulf myself in all of this shit. It made me very proud to be part of it, and I would tell people about NATOR's awesomeness and pulling together to help each other and shit. Now it seems to be all about stickers, shirts, and who's repping who and blah blah blah. Bunch of cliques, constantly instigating shit... In my opinion, a lot of people have lost their way, and forgot why we all do the shit we do.

Some of the people leading this shit are people that others look up to. Your actions are negatively impacting NATOR as a whole. Instead of stepping back, or further creating a large separation, be the ones to step up and bring things back together.

I'm really hoping that this year's ENM can change things, and take us back to the way things were. I'm hoping some people can overcome some shit, and look past whatever beef they have; maybe even patch things up, if they're man enough to forgive and more forward. I enjoy being around all of you when you come down from NY, NJ, PA, wherever the fuck you come from. I try to make a point to sit down and hang out with everyone at some point or another. All this shit on the internet is not who you guys are in person, and that's upsetting because all of you are good people. So I'm hoping that shit shows through when we all come together, and shit can return to us enjoying everything we do with a bunch of other motherfuckers who also enjoy doing the same shit.

Things won't always be perfect, but they sure as fuck can be a lot fucking better than they have been. Even with what's been going on, I still look forward to seeing all you faggots; even those who I haven't heard good things about since the last time we saw each other. Time to move forward.

Yes it was. Didn't fucking know each other at all, and went out to grab lunch and kicked the shit for the rest of the day. <<< That was what shit was like. Ant and Tommy inviting me over to their place to spin wrenches or watch and learn, when they had no clue who the fuck I was. Rich gave me my first ghetto intake and helped me put it on; the same intake that was passed around NDC a few times to help get people on their feet.

Everyone at EECNM was nice, inviting, and giving me suggestions, and helping to educate me. Telling me if I needed help with anything to hit them up, etc..

I've told people who had never been to ENM about how awesome and epic it is, and how its like a giant family reunion, and everyone is here bitching and arguing fucking petty shit. Its fucking ridiculous.

Can't wait! Last year of my life has been the most difficult. Also moving away from some of my best friends like @CWP_MS3;. At the end of the day it's all about friends, fun and reconnecting with those people you rarely get to see IRL. Oh and of course this is the one event i can touch everyone's pee pee at the same time! Lets get something straight... Nator is a word, not an action. That is exactly why so many people who wouldn't know if Nator ran them over rock the stickers and shirts.

People who never did a fucking nator-like thing will be there thinking they know wtf nator is.

Me, Teddy, Kritz, Andrew, or whomever you think is trying to break a group of friends up is doing is exactly the opposite.

I feel like you should do some fact finding on whom is doing all the "natoring" before you misrepresent the situation.

Eating pizza and drinking beer doesn't mean shit to me, which is what some people seem to think Nator is.

About 20% of the people attending the meet have ever done a fucking thing for their fellow Mazdaspeed owners, so I don't want to hear shit about how some pretty hardcore people who would bend over backwards for others are ruining "nator".

ANYONE WANTING TO SAVE NATOR OR REP IT... STEP UP YOUR OWN GAME vs. TELLING ME HOW MUCH YOU LOVE IT.

psychophyr 03-22-2014 07:26 AM

Why don't we all just hash it out like adults face to face to avoid the inevitable drama buildup that all these internet soapbox speeches are causing. I don't think anyone that is going hates anyone else enough to actually ruin the event.

Domino81 03-22-2014 08:41 AM

Becoming friends with some great people is just a perk. :)

Tommy 03-22-2014 11:50 AM

Guys, lets take it down a notch. Long, cold winter, cabin fever or whatever has got peoples panties in a bunch over t-shirts. Who cares. This meet isn't some dick measuring contest or to prove who helps more people than others. You guys also need to accept the fact that just because we're all car enthusiasts, doesn't mean we can all be best of friends. People are different. The last year has proven this. If people can't make up, they need to move on.

So, get your cars ready for an awesome meet and if your blessed with the opportunity to help someone else out, do so.

All this tension over fucking t-shirts?!?!?

Call it whatever you'd like, but I've seen nothing but negative shit come from all of the nonsense that has happened this year. I'm not going to do fact finding, because its not my area nor my care, but I see the drama carry over to other places on this forum.

I've heard *some* things and I'll agree that some of your points are valid, but I believe things could be handled in a more mature way.

Long story short, I don't honestly give a fuck about what's going on; I just want to see everyone enjoy themselves, and not see the carryover.

I dont know who started this rumor that we are coming to start trouble.

Things went down last year, and believe me, im so far removed from any of the people ive had issues with, and i intend to keep things that way. Like i said, time and place for everything. Ive heard all the rumors, and i could care less. We are coming, we are going to have a great time last we did last year. Rob, Justin and i have been busy getting the car ready for this all winter, and the track day is our main priority. My boya from Florida, California, Canada, and midwest are all coming out and we plan on having a awesome weeekend. Our group is all chipping in money, parts, stickers to raffle off for Nator.

No issues will be had i assure everyone, so long as everyone plays nice. This weekend is about seeing old faces, meeting new ones. My beefs are in my backyard, and they will stay there i promise.

I'll let it rest because I'm not trying to cause trouble, but you can rest assured in our area, a large majority of the wrenching, tuning and car related activities are being taken care of by the immature.

Not sure what the mature guys are doing besides eating pizza and drinking beer while paying a shop to do all of their work.

Some of the comments made in this thread only reinforce my point. Lots of guys talk "nator" very few walk it.

Before anyone thinks I'm attempting to measure what one guy vs another does, that isn't my point. My point is that I don't want to hear shit about how "nator" is ruined or being contested from a bunch of "nator" guys who haven't touched a wrench all year.

If you want to include people who don't work on their own car in nator, my Grandmom likes pizza and beer, and although disgusting, may even enjoy the "show us what you got" thread.

Tommy 03-23-2014 08:27 AM

@rfinkle2; you say want to let it rest and call those in your area immature in the same sentence. Letting it rest would be moving on and saying no more in here. The fact that you needed to get the last jab in demonstrates a lack of maturity on your own part. I promise you that the majority going to enm do not care who you guys have had beef with or how you feel about other Nator.

There are several restaurants/bars within walking distance. Other bars around but you'd have to drive maybe 10-15 minutes.

You don't need slicks. Will they help? Yeah, of course. Will not having them make your day less than incredible? No way! You're going to get super bummed once you see everyone running.

Outlaw4shrt 03-25-2014 02:20 PM

sent payment for dinner for 2, thanks.

If I can go, I may do that anyway. Bigger issue at hand. I should know by next week.

Thinking about dragging my girlfriend along for the fun.. I'm too much of a noob to take my car on the track but from what I have read, there should be a decent turn out and a chance to meet some new peeps and get involved with NATOR

You need to start somewhere, and honestly, this is probably the best place to start. You'll be surrounded by people who know what they're doing and can help you figure out if you're doing anything wrong. There will also be plenty of people more than willing to help out if you break something. Don't let a couple big power cars and a few track veterans stop you from having fun.

Don't even let the "big power" cars intimidate you.. I'm a fucking noob myself. I'll be there for practice and learning from the vets

Fuckn' Tapn'

Easter Bunny 03-26-2014 08:51 AM

plus a day like this is the best way to learn as you will get way more passes than a normal night at the track.
