...and just a reminder to those planning to track - the sooner you register for the trackday the better, as it will help to ensure that CGI has enough time to get enough instructors to commit as well.

It's not a big deal if I stay somewhere else other than the resort is it? My work has a lot of points built up being an honors member and I can probably score a couple nights for free.

Honestly, I firmly believe you will have more fun if you stay at the resort.

The resort is pretty secluded, and you will have to drive to get to any other hotel (not to mention, most of the other hotels in South Haven are probably booked at this point as well - it IS a resort town and we're going to be there during a holiday weekend).

I know Daniel, another Canadian, and I are splitting a room (And Shayne may be coming). I can't call the resort right now, but I sent them an email asking how many people can fit in a room. If we have the room, you're moar than welcome to crash. Hopefully I find out how many people can fit in a room.

Once upon a time I packed 8 people in a 12x10 cabin at a campground.

It was a bad time, but it worked. Nobody questioned anything either when we checked in...

Just booked a room. It has a queen, and bunk beds. The bunk beds have a full size on the bottom, and a twin up top. Should give anyone who needs to crash on the floor room.

They still have plenty of rooms, and the pricing is so damn cheap. Call them, say you're with NATOR and see how cheap it is.

Just so everyone here knows... As of now someone is getting him to the border, then I believe @speed3 britz; is bringing him to me in Lansing and from there I will get him to the resort but no dates or times have been mentioned. We probably need to get this figured out.

Beach day will be Sunday 8/31 at Van Buren State Park:

Due to Michigan's not so awesome drinking laws, we are not allowed to drink on the beach BUT we are allowed to drink at reserved camp sites. We reserved camp sites 35, 36 and 38, all of which are next to each other and close to the restrooms. We will keep all food and drinks here. I also attached a map so you can see the general area of where we will be. See that little red squre? Right in there.

There is a fee to park at the campground ($8 I think?) if you do not have a state permit. We recommend carpooling here to save on parking spaces and of course, beer money.

I am going to come straight from Detroit alllll the way to here (sorry guys looks like Sunday will be the only day I can attend :( )! Hopefully a few people are sticking around!!!

We were originally gonna drive out and bring the ST, but with time constraints we decided to go ahead and fly. So we'll be flying in Thursday evening (7:15) to Chicago O'Hare and driving from there. Can't wait to see all you guys!
