Yes, we're going for a group rate discount. Basically there's no other discounts that can be used because of the other events going on this weekend, so the only discount we can go for is as a group. And yes, your hilton points can still be used specifically for your room, i just called and confirmed this.

Also for beds, the people listed below, these are all one bed rooms. The rate is the same for 2, so if you specifically need 2 beds, please say this up front, or you'll be at the mercy of availability if you change this at the time of booking. Here's the updated list though:

Goal is no more than $130 lol.....yes, that is a good $40 off what they're asking right now, but fuck it if there's like 20 of us in this one particular booking; that's legit close to $3000 they're bringing in, off of ONLY us, and this isn't factoring concessions and other shit of the sort. Yes, that's the plan. Figure the more the merrier. Want to try to throw as many reservations in this as we can, so we actually have a shot at making a legitimate case for a better rate, as in $40 bucks off every room. I don't know how many more we can add, or what the magic number will be, but from the looks of this, we should have a pretty strong leg for negotiations. Figure let's wait it out a little longer, til like Monday, 2/11 though, and take what we have to the negotiation table then. That'll give some peeps time to answer, add a few more names, maybe, and we still have time to add some more names to aid in negotiations if necessary

The girl at the desk is pretty cool though, might have to take care of her in the back when we get down there :bananadoggywow: hahaha, customer service has been excellent. Everytime I call she's like "You setting it up today?".....and I'm like,

I've stayed at a few different ones and they always seem to hire the nice people. Whenever I go somewhere I try to make sure there is a hilton around so I can stay there and not anywhere else.

Apparently the front desk cannot schedule more than 9 rooms, so we specifically need to speak with the sales dept. Rep's name is Ashley, but i caught her on break, so was unable to speak with her before she left. She's in at 830 tomorrow, so i'll be calling while i'm getting my oil changed.

I'm still missing info from 70% of the people looking to be part of the group rate. I was contacted by the sales agent again today about the missing info, as I said before nothing can be confirmed without a list of the people staying.
