I'm working on it, but it might boil down to you guys pooling together to get a group rate.

Keep in mind this is the biggest Mazda event on the east coast also the raffle prizes , FREE raffle prizes, alone are worth coming for. This will also be the LAST mazda event I set up at OCC.

Tintstar.net is on board as a sponsor/vendor. They will be doing roof and hood wraps as well as tint.
Tint will be $199/car
I will get more prices soon

Domino81 01-16-2013 01:39 PM

Storm, please let me know if you need any event help.

trf5000 01-16-2013 01:52 PM

Also, I can't remember from last year, but what is the rule on food? Are we allowed to bring a small gas grill perhaps to make some or is that out of the question.

I seem to remember last year that wasn't allowed, but just re-affirming.

Sorry. Part of the reason why OCC asked me to have the meet again there this year is to drive business to the new restaurant that's in the same building. So no grilling.

Thanks for confirming. We do so many of the damn meets all the rules blur after awhile.

How are their tint jobs? At 199/car, on-the-spot, I'm a little skeptical, but tint is definitely something I want done and I'm curious how they do.

Is the new restaurant any good?

TIS

Domino81 01-16-2013 02:16 PM

They were knockin' 'em out like crazy last year, I think that's why they can afford to offer it so cheap.

My tint was done by them and the wrap on my roof and mirrors. They also did my first wrap. Quality work and lifetime guarantee . They're the only one I would go to and they're about an hour from me.

Domino81 01-16-2013 02:51 PM

Whoever had the pulled pork last year was pretty decent.

I double posted... because I have the memory of a gold fish. Thus why I changed this last post. But at least you know I'm available. lol

dubunderpar 01-16-2013 03:01 PM

I can't wait for this, because it was so great last year.

Correct, you get a gold star.

Dash08 01-16-2013 05:25 PM

I'm in.

Finally got the time circuits wired to the flux capacitor properly. The Mr. Fusion unit still has a faulty processing meter, but that's only because I haven't restructured the intake compatibility mainframe. Shouldn't be a problem.

So, I'm gonna wait a few days after the event and read the forums to see if it was awesome or not. Then, If everything sounds good, I'll see you guys there.

exentix 01-16-2013 05:44 PM

tintstar did my car last year at occ. still looks fantastic, the tint doesnt seem to have faded or peeled anywhere and they got shit done that day. probably did a dozen cars either tint or roof wraps at least.

edit; pic wont resize, forget it

What's your tint percentage, and do you get a hard time from NY police?

Ant, I got 35% and have been pulled over a dozen times for other alleged infractions and never got asked about my tint. I have had it since 2007. Being respectful goes a long way here.

Grumpyjap 01-17-2013 09:09 AM

Well it looks like we've run into a problem. The date needs to change to May 4th

Grumpyjap 01-17-2013 09:45 AM

Please spread the word.

A mod should change the thread title.

*sigh* So original, haha. Don't worry, I'll bring my girlfriend, just for you. Pretty soon you'll be coming to NATOR meets just to see her rather than for sharing your gheys with @voltron;

I didn't get mine done at a meet but they did a great job on mine. I went 5% all the way around with a strip on the top of the windshield. I also paid more then 199$ so it sounds like a great deal with a great vendor.

Domino81 01-18-2013 10:58 AM

5%?? How have you not been pulled over?
