Looks like they only charge like $100 for a hood wrap...that's friggin mint man, I might do it. I know you got your whole car done, and relatively quickly. Any trick with this? Like no auto car washes or specific polishes? Or is it just like set it and forget, do it and leave it be?

Yeah plus they use the 3m 1080 material. It's good stuff and specifically made for automotive applications. It lets the paint breathe so it's good for the paint. When they took the silver wrap off my car the paint looked showroom new.
They vinyl is more resilient than the paint is. no rock chips, scratches peeling or anything. you can run it through an auto wash no problem, BUT with matte or satin finishes you CANNOT have any wax. I power wash my car and it gets off 99% of the dirt. I'll hand wash every other week and in between washes I will use a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and distilled water. Takes me literally 10 minutes to wash my car now.

but generally it will cost you around $3k to do a whole car, material and installation. Installation is where it kills the price. I would have it installed professionally or at least by someone you know that can do it. The bumper and some of the weird angles on our cars are tricky. @rfinkle2 did his on his own and it came out perfect, but then again it's rfinkle...
Just make sure its automotive wrap. Regular outdoor wrap will slowly kill your paint.
