1 Attachment(s) Won the dog basket. woof. woof. |
ya'll see the blue rx7 on the left as you pulled in? didjya notice the gray speed6 parked next to it? yeah, that was me, the old guy in the gray shirt & mustache |
I won some ish. Turbosmart bpv, the defi din gauge thing, and the SURE stainless shift knob. I know I talked to some of ya'all. Also, MSFer won the dyno competition! Built ms3 with HPA3076 put down 452whp at 31psi (there was a good bit left in it though........they had a shit fan on the front of the car....we figure he's closer to 500) |
I was there. I parked next to you with the cbm gen 1. |
did anyone else see the asian kid that won all the shit? 3 license plate frames, a plug 'n play adapter for the standback, won the unichip for speed 6, some other crap.......and he has a regular 6? lolz. |

Wasn't bcmurphy, but Murphy and his shop did the work on the car. We did an e-dyno tune to dial in the fifth port on Tuesday I believe. Made 455/444 at 27 psi on the hta3071. His mbc sucked, and when he put on Chris's (bcmurphy's) mbc, he was able to hold 30 psi no problem. Unfortunately no dyno pulls at that psi, but it would have been pretty high 400's I'm sure. Turbo was happy as a clam and flowed very nicely. Cool he won the competition. Chris said he was super nice guy. Sent from my penis using magic |
I was there .. That fith port set up is nice !! First time I got to see one in person ! |
Well I had a blast, it was great meeting some of you in person......, and to personally get fucked up by @chimmike. Then I raped @CtrlAlt1337 to make myself feel a little better. Then he went to go try to race a celica that didn't want anything to do with him, hahahahaha. Got me to the point where this morning I had to go turn up my boost even more, dial down my meth to start injecting at a lower PSI.... Without @3Gee Tee in my car and the much colder weather this morning, it pulled muuuuch nicer. sigh. one of these days Mike. :P |

I did not get on msf all day, fail. I met most of you. Good times. I had the silver ms3 with the FYHN on the engine-to-bumper cover and "remove before flight" flag. Got pics, wll post tomorrow. |

Yeah with the crap fans the Dyno had, he was definitely high 400s. Sent from my iPhone your mom's face |

On a side note, while idling out front to get in, my tailpipe began emitting plumes of white smoke. Turbo seals are shot, I think. 78000 miles. I also think driving 2 hours down, then right I idle, may have a part. Will see if it does it again. I read a few others only have the problem when they go on a long drive. |
Everyone was smoking on the dyno, too. Lol Sent from my iPhone your mom's face @p057 that sound you guys heard is my wg fluttering early. That cut I'm feeing around 6000-6500, my log shows I'm hitting like 94%wgdc so I'm betting some Idc induced load cap. Need bigger meth nozzles lol Sent from my iPhone your mom's face |
i want to see that video of me being raped. i get off on that shit.:masked: |
@chimmike, found your wedding ring in my back seat. Must have come off with all the lube when giving me a handy yesterday. Need your address to send it back. |
So how was the turn out guys? |
Pretty good, 150 or so cars. Did not hear of a car count though. Really well done event. |
How was our booth? |
There was no msf booth. |

I'm interested in seeing the pics they got of everybody on the way in... Also, I'm surprised at how many people that I didn't meet. Next time I'm getting a shirt made up that say's "I'm TiGraySpeed6"...... |
I had a little tag thing that i wrote both my forum name and real name.... no one came to say hi. :wall: PS: I was the one who won the Dreadnaught. PSS: and the black speed6 w/ rx8 wheels they asked to move. |
Quote:
I thought the venue was perfect, turn-out was weak. I know the caravan that I was planning on heading up with ended up being just myself. I would have gladly parked with a group to add to a "crew" as well but knew no one. I also realized that I'm getting pretty old for the import scene. Seems like its mostly cool scene kids. |
<---is not a cool scene kid at all. I'm just a modding junkie. |
I didn't see the thread until just now fml. I was there I won the sure full3 aeros (not just the sri p057 ) and a blow out valve. I had a lot of fun with the Tampa Nator crew and everyone else I met. That Asian kid with the lisence plates was so happy to win all of the random shit, none of which other than plates would work on his car. Lol |
Quote:
|
Yea the guy that won lives in Tampa. His name is Mike not sure his forum name but a really clean speed3. It scoots for sure. PERM and 5th port FTW |
I was there! I said hello to Raider and a few others I think. My car's the built yeller MSP with the carbon fiber vented hood and black rims. If you saw a chick running around saying hi to everyone with a "I love my mazda" MM shirt and camo skirt, that was me. :wavey: |
I saw you detailing the heck out of it Sent from my iPhone your mom's face |
Yeah, I can get OCD like that. I meant to do it a little and then just went overboard like an ass. lol |

If I told you how much I've spend on modding cars over the years, i'd probably have a heart attack. turbo'd a 350z, live axle swap on a 94 4runner, 2 custom turbo kits on sentras, this car, motorcycles, etc. |
ugh same here. at least it isnt drugs. I mean, those hurt you and your family, risk your health, and get you in trouble with the law frequently.................wait. :| |
I still need to load pics. Too much hellaflush there. |

There's a few of us that live on the Treasure Coast. Steve with the white 323 parked in VIP lives in Vero. Another guy named Krystan with a red MS3 lives by me in PSL. I think there's also one or two others that live either in PSL or by Palm Beach Gardens. I rarely if ever come across another modded MSP or P5 though. :sigh: |

Oooops, ya accidentally got my Speed in one of your pics! It was only right on the edge of a panorama shot, but still, standards must be maintained! Lolz, I'm impressed with just how many MSFers that were there that I managed to not meet... Honestly not sure how I managed that... Raider, were you the guy walking around with the ipad filming stuff? green shirt I think... |
No, as a Mac person, I have to say it was the first time I saw someone do a pic with one, and the look absolutely retarded. my iPad is Gen1, no camera. And now I do not feel bad. Seriously, it was as bad as the hellaflush shit. I mean, fuck, get a goddamn camera. And I was in a green button-down shirt and beige shorts. I just uploaded more pics from a local guy, and a pretty badass video. JMOC is the Jacksonville Mazda Owner's Club, my local peeps. The orange and blue 3 is all a vinyl wrap keyed off of the RX-8 racing team design. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...12/th_JMOC.jpg |
Yeah I can't believe I missed everybody besides @Raider. We need stickers or nametags or something. Glad to see my old school Mazda emblem painted intercooler made it into the video for a split second. Next time something like this goes down we need a MSF meeting spot. And im a little dissapointed that I was the only one rocking a FYHN sticker. @Raider you don't count yours was after you got there. Next time ill put a big cock on the IC then I know where all you homos will be. :147: And yes judging by all the stickers all over the cars and hella flush, im getting to old for this scene too. |
I took a pic of your engine bay, but it was all blurry when I got home, weak. Was good to meet you and @itg3rl and yeah, next meet needs name tags. I think I am getting old too. Music was too loud, and the hellaflush mad me angry. It was a lot like Hot Import Nights, but there was at least a lot of non-shit cars there. HIN was all crap everywhere. |
"If it's too loud, you're too old." But yeah, music was waaay too loud. |
Yeah, I totally fucked up this meet. Had to work late, then friends birthday after. Next time I'll be there. |
Some of the less sucky pics, my phone is a pic fail & it killed the battery early in the day :( http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-01.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-02.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-03.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-04.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-05.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-06.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-07.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-08.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-09.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-10.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-11.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-12.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-13.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-14.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-15.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-16.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-17.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-18.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-19.jpg http://stable-networks.com/ms6r/imag...gs6-EpM-20.jpg |
@Raider looks like you got one of my 6 as well. Little blurry. Talked to TiGray for a bit. Felt like an internet stalker since I already knew just about every project on his car. I don't go to car show much but it def does not help the mod bug. |
it was sad i had to explain to a couple people what the L2A intercooler was. |

I am ok with country. it was a variety, which worked. At least it was not that shitty skrillexxxx techno euro shit that is usually played. I mean shit, they has Sweet Home Alabama play, as well as Gangnam style. pretty funny. I personally enjoyed watching the South FL chicas get all ghetto when they wanted to leave early, and forced cars to squeeze back so they could get their taped up white genpus out. That was funny. I wish I had gotten video of the police dog demo, that was pretty cool. |

Personally I dont think they're very efficient at all (after all that i read) but should be good drag setups due to being able to drop ice and crap right into the reservoir for literally ice-cold cooling. |

Did earrings come out? BTW, I'll load pics tonight or tomorrow. |
What the hell was up with the taped up cars anyways? |

I had to back up 3 times for them to get out. Lucky for them I was sitting in my car. No one knew me so they would have had to get on the intercom. Quote:
|
I had to help push those 2 cars out of the garage. They were getting out of hand and needed to go like right that second apparently. They went from zero to ghetto in 2 seconds flat. |
Quote:
Strick, which guy were you? |
She had a bunch of attitude and was said she was leaving one way or another. Whether we helped or not...lol. I had a red team shirt on and Camo shorts. I was probably working the gate when you rolled in. This event went pretty smooth overall and is really just a building block for next years event. Now we know what to do, and what not to do. Turnout will always vary of course too. I saw some nice cars and.some rigged up ones too. It's too be expected with different levels of budget, knowledge and dedication to the cars. |
Quote:
And apparently, I missed said ghetto-ness too. :17: After parking I pretty much knew I wasn't going anywhere with as tight a fit as we had between cars. And I was fine with that because this wasn't my first rodeo. But for some of the others, they should have been prepared to not go anywhere once they got there. The only thing I'd change was A) more ventilation B) LUNCH TRUCKS C) better DJ and D) more toilet paper in the bathrooms...the women's side ran out. lol But other than that, great job. |
yeah one and only thing that irritated me was the music. I don't know when it became the norm for "DJs" to just crank all the gains up, put the volume on max and blast whatever they felt like playing. Just a heads up, you know.. all gains up sounds pretty distorted........ it'd be nice if the DJs went down to where people will be standing, and do a soundcheck to make sure you aren't making people's eardrums bleed? Other than that, i loved the event. it was great and my buds and i had a great time! Easily the best weekend I've had in a few weeks. |
I was pretty sure I walked past an IPad with a playlist on the screen. It's their first event. :thinking:Gotta live and learn. Next year I'm sure they'll fine tune everything. Turn down music Spread out parking Cater enough grub More activities. They'll get it spot on. |
I've gotta say, one of the best benefits of going VIP was real estate- more of it and a better location. If I'm able to attend next year I'll get the same again. That said, the maniac level was a somewhat overpriced for the return. $150 to park by the door, get an extra bag full of brochures for stuff I don't want & a T-shirt... The passport thing didn't even get punched for most of the stuff, often not even looked at. There were, what, less than a dozen VIP folks? Could've let em skip to the front of the line to get into the warehouse after the picture taking maybe, or an extra shirt, maybe actual swag in the swag bag.... hmmm, guess the shiny has started to wear off... :) Don't care, still gonna go next year, wife is already talking about the next vacation & the weather was perfect. And I'd get VIP again too. |
yeah, i was disappointed with the gift bag (i hate that other word) it was mostly brochures. I was really glad to help out the humane society (or whatever the equivalent was up there) That's about the only thing i'm ready to donate to. save the doggies! |
Agreed. Bag was kinda lame. Glad I didn't go with the maniac package after all. BUT. They did raffle off some good stuff. I think if they cut out some of the raffle stuff for more shit in the bags it would've been better. |
Dude, i was like WTF! I got the similar bad at the JMOC Meet & Eat. I think the only difference was more ads for SU. Was expecting more, but heh, my kid has a rubber bracelet now, and my air compressor another Turbosmart sticker. Also scored a pile of Episode M stickers from the booth for the free swag punch on the passport. All in all, I think they will only improve. They have a year. I am sure Heath @MazdaMovement is still trying to recover though! |
Shit was in a warehouse? Interesting. |
Yeah, gotta say for a first run it went pretty damn smoothly! I'm looking forward to the next one for sure Curious tho: when calling for more folks to come hit the dyno, they kept asking for Speed6's too.... The guys running the dyno looked at me like I was on drugs when I mentioned it was a shame it didn't have another set of rollers... Wonder if they knew? Woulda been fun to see somebody pull up there with a 6.... :) |
Quote:
@Raider at least at the jmoc meet, i got black wristband, not pink... also got mini beachballs, t-shirt, luggage tag and lanyard/nametag thing that i wore to episodeM. i think i got some other stuff but i cant remember it. |
i got a pic of the duno graph of that v6. it was shocking. http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/t...020_134319.jpg plus, who as at world of beer on the saturady night? i was. oh and im quite sure the car count was 210 here is a link to all my pics http://www.mpsowners.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=11298 |
9 Attachment(s) A bit that I captured. One pic with all the cars with their hoods open,(nothing to do with EpisodeM) was Autocross day Sunday in grand bay, AL. Yes, we are die hard for it. So mush so, drove from Orlando to Pensacola saturday night after the event and woke Sunday to drive the shit out of some Auto cross'n. T'was ok with me. Out of forty drivers me and @beachshoer placed 4th and 5th. Whuts up! Oh and Inside the impressive hotel. It was simple, but we loved the internal courtyard. Will visit again. and I'll hand out the damn name tags myself next year. Pissed me off to no end. |

Little late to the party lol. I was there. Wore a gray beachside auto repair shirt. My car was the old white protege in the VIP section. Dyno'd before most people got there. 248whp and 259wtq |

I see that, good meeting you too. I'll need to figure out a day we can get our fenders rolled |
I attended as well and saw a bunch of sick cars! You all turned out in force! Super jealous of the white Speed6 in the back corner by the merchandise. It was one of my favorite rides there. I thought alot more people would have showed up but it was still a good event for the 1st time. My biggest complaint was the indoor lighting. It made for extremely difficult photo taking unless you had a tripod which I didn't have. That Mazda 6 isn't a V6 btw. I talked to him and he has the 2.5L as well as me(preparing for inc flaming). My 2.5L hatch dyno'd way higher than his (172whp/172wtq) with the only difference being I have a header. Both of us are still wicked slow though compared to the speed that put down the 400+ numbers. Here are some pics myself and my buddy took. Feel free to download any of them from photobucket if you deem them worthy. http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...SC00024ARW.jpg |
