Sup fellas?

Since the weather finally broke, me, was thinking we should get a BBQ going at one of the Forest Preserves.

Some of the spots are:

Forest Preserve @ Irving Park/Cumberland (Chicago/River Grove, IL)
Forest Preserve @ Cicero/Elston (Chicago, IL)
Forest Preserve @ Peterson/Skokie (Chicago, IL)
Forest Preserve/Rubio Woods @ (143rd Street & Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, IL‎) AKA Bachelors Grove

All places are big and easy on the parking. My preference would be Rubio Woods because there's some bad ass roads that hardly see traffic in the evening hours that isn't too far away. Did I mention no cops? Not only that- the woods are huge with a huge hiking/biking trail that goes through like the center of the woods. I dunno, how many of you actually been there?

Let me know what's up.

As far as dates, we should try to aim this for sometime next month.

As long as they allow you to byob I'm in. I have a feeling if we just invite people off of here it wont be too big so I doubt well need a permit. I'm fine just chilling with 5 or 6 guys bullshitting and grilling

I know there's more people on here that are local but don't talk to them... the other fellas I know are pretty much like kids, lol, I just don't want to be hurdled with nothing but car talk...it gets annoying and old after a while.

I would definitely want more people for sure- the more, the better.

Saturday July 10? Gives plenty of time for everyone to reserve that day.

and sebastian..... we should also get some of the local people to meet up at ur crib before we head out to FP so we can all cruise there together...... if thats cool with you

Yeah, I work till 2pm. I won't be home till 3pm. I wanted to do this later in the afternoon about 4pm. I'm going to post this on the other forums later today. I already got a few of the other locals to come along. I'll see if I could get the day off because I'm close to maxing out my personals.

A mile or two west of the preserve there is another forest/cemetery I can't remember now. There are roads down there that would be bad-ass for cruising/road racing especially later in the evening.

Meet up at my crib is fine with me. We could line up all the cars down the road and have some bad ass photos taken. Seba (red speed) bought himself a new camera I'll bring my own video camera.

We got our schedules revised and now I'm working afternoons- the posted date will have to be pushed back a week or two which will allow me to use a freebie.

Then again I dunno fellas. Friday night I stopped by Strats this past Friday for a short time cuz Seba called me up.... there were few other speeds there but they all were pansies. I wanted to tell them their cars are slow.
