New Product RE-RELEASE!! JB ARMOR Mud Flaps In Stock

The story...
3 years ago JBR released mud flaps for the MAZDASPEED 3 constructed out of textured ABS plastic. Our thought was that they would be more durable than the urethane flaps being offered at the time and for a while they were. Then winter came and the ABS got much less flexible, became somewhat brittle in extreme climates and as a result we've had several break over the past 3 years. Our customers were taken care of course and the broken flaps were replaced under our lifetime warranty. So we decided to redesign our mud flaps flaps and now...we've perfected them!!

Today we're very proud to now offer JB ARMOR Mud Flaps

Details:
JB ARMOR Mud Flaps are the highest quality flaps available at a price that's now easier than ever to afford. Made from thick, 1/8” 80a durometer urethane, the same exact material used by the more expensive companies. Tough protection from rocks, road tar and mud that will withstand any form of abuse, on or off the road. The JBR brand logo has been laser etched in to the surface of each flap, guaranteed never to fade like those that are painted on or fall of off like decals.

2004 - 2013 MAZDA 3
2007 - 2013 MAZDASPEED 3

The JB ARMOR Mud Flap Kit Includes:
  • 2 Front Mud Flaps
  • 2 Rear Mud Flaps
  • Stainless Mounting Hardware
  • Color Installation instructions are available in our support section
  • Shipping is free in the US & our Hassle Free Lifetime Warranty is included

You guys using a fiber laser for that? Or CO2? Looking sharp!

[R]usty 03-07-2014 03:06 PM

These look great Jamie! Any pictures of the whole car with these installed?

+1. Looks good so far...

alextheguineapig 03-07-2014 03:11 PM

Damn! If I didn't already have Rally Armor flaps I would love these.

JBR 03-07-2014 03:13 PM

We just brought laser etching in house, it's a co2 gas laser etcher/cutter. Bad mother too. I'll post a vid of them being etched later.

Sorry no side pics. I'll snap one later and post it.

ihasmazda 03-07-2014 03:14 PM

Is there any actual benefit of putting mud flaps on (the back of) a FWD... kinda seems like rice unless I'm missing something?

Trey-Z 03-07-2014 03:21 PM

Good thing I waited!

Kickass! The reason I ask is we just got a fiber laser in at work and I haven't been able to get nearly that decent of a finish out of it on plastics.

Do your back wheels not rotate?

JBR 03-07-2014 03:29 PM

All tires pick up dirt, rocks, mud, tar ect. and throw it up on the car, causing paint chips and a big mess too regardless of what wheel drive.

I had a few blem flaps that didn't make it through our QA and we used those for testing. It took a lot of tweaking to get it perfect. Melted a bunch of urethane and that shit stinks.

littleloogy 03-07-2014 03:34 PM

I am interested in more pics as well, I need flaps, got shitty Mazda paint. I swear I get more nicks from data logging then when I am daily driving. Thank you in advance for the pictures.

Sent while cleaning my spill valve again...

Murcielago311 03-07-2014 03:37 PM

Available logo-less? My Rokblokz are starting to get chewed up on the bottom edge and have a silly name.

manila 03-07-2014 04:31 PM

@jbarone; Any chance we can get some with red lettering?

JBR 03-07-2014 04:31 PM

Here's the video.

Mcklveen02 03-07-2014 04:35 PM

Will these ever be made for the 6? I'd definitely be purchasing a set if so.

i havent driven a winter without mine but i can say i never get snow piled up near my tires like most cars that dont have flaps.

just my observation

Big Dog 03-07-2014 05:39 PM

I'll second the motion that I'd like to see a set for the MS6.

I'd also be interested in them being logoless......because my car isn't boring enough.

Yes they are. Mention "without engraving" in the comments section during check out and we'll send a set with no logo's.

We raised the lettering up for that very purpose. So it would not get chewed off.

Boostin'likeAboss 03-07-2014 06:17 PM

how dare you JB. neglecting your ms6 brotheren on all these new products

King Scumbag 03-07-2014 06:48 PM

These look great @jbarone;. I am glad you decided to go with the Name and logo in these this time around!! Speaking of logos, I need a big ass white JBR vynil to put somewhere lol.
Ohhhhh aahhh and engraving now! Me likey!

jeffdevo 03-07-2014 06:52 PM

I wouldn't say the first batch failed, we had a few break. If you have a warranty issue email us and we'll get you taken care of.

We use stainless 1/4-20 phil pan machine screws and good 1/4-20 metal edge clips for machine screws to fasten too. Not sure what RA provides but, I've never had any come loose. When I swapped out the old ABS flaps for a set of new the new ones the hardware was clean and easy to remove after 3 years of being on the car so I would say the hardware is really good.

Bucci 03-09-2014 07:23 AM

moonrider_99 03-09-2014 03:53 PM

Are these more of a "shiny/glossy black"? I was hoping for something more "flat black".

aaron88 03-09-2014 05:46 PM

Based on the pictures provided, I'm gonna say glossy.

rymanmazda 03-09-2014 06:35 PM

Aaaaand not for the MS6:(

as long as the hardware for these is the same as the abs plastic ones, YES. having run both RA and JBR, jamies hardware is miles better. set it, and forget it.

I've had mine for over a year and they've been running strong. I've definitely scraped them on bumps and curbs more than a few times, but haven't chipped anything off yet. If I do, I'll definitely upgrade to the new JBR ones! The mounting hardware is legit.

Kyle Undefined 03-12-2014 10:48 AM

i would love a set for the 6.

that being said i have custom mounted f 150 flaps on to a raptor and done lots of other custom flaps before so i could probably try custom mounting these. would the pre made slots be that much different then a set for a 6?

That flaps for the MS6 turned out really nice. I made them so there's some adjustment; they can be moved in our out about 5/8" or so.

The material for them should be ready on the 10th and hopefully we can get them cut within a few weeks after that.

Not bad. The first front one took me a little longer because I was having trouble moving the liner out of the way, but with a bit more force it popped out without an issue. The rest of them was easy after that.

Jaime,

Might I be able to order just the hardware you use for your flaps? I love buying your products, but I can't justify buying new flaps when I have RA flaps already. But this winter was really hard on the hardware provided by RA, and I've heard your hardware was much better. Just curious if you would be willing to do that. Figured I'd post it here for the benefit of others.
