From what I've seen these are almost exactly the same size as the RA's.

Mattcinnc1 03-27-2014 07:46 PM

Can't wait to buy some for the 6

That flaps for the MS6 turned out really nice. I made them so there's some adjustment; they can be moved in our out about 5/8" or so.

The material for them should be ready on the 10th and hopefully we can get them cut within a few weeks after that.

fredricktsang 03-31-2014 09:14 PM

Got mine in the mail today and got them installed. Looks fantastic, we'll see how well they do when it rains tomorrow!

Not bad. The first front one took me a little longer because I was having trouble moving the liner out of the way, but with a bit more force it popped out without an issue. The rest of them was easy after that.

Jaime,

Might I be able to order just the hardware you use for your flaps? I love buying your products, but I can't justify buying new flaps when I have RA flaps already. But this winter was really hard on the hardware provided by RA, and I've heard your hardware was much better. Just curious if you would be willing to do that. Figured I'd post it here for the benefit of others.

Clintjw99 04-23-2014 09:32 PM

Finally ordered a set. Still not sure if I like the look of mud flaps on the spid3, but tired of the rock chips and crud in the wheel wells.

Jap11g 04-23-2014 09:32 PM

I smell a group buy.......

But in all seriousness, @jbarone; how do you guys feel about custom etching? Can that be arranged?

If I can do it, there is a $45.00 one time programming fee plus the cost of the flaps. You must provide usable artwork. I will not do any design.

Hal 05-12-2014 11:20 AM

Ordered my set on Saturday. Will be on the car this weekend with the new brake lines.

SparkySparks 05-12-2014 11:56 AM

Hmm, really making me want to replace my rockblockz with these. The possible option for custom logo has me even more interested. JBR logo on the fronts NATOR on the back, maybe the NATOR Texas logo if I can get permission and the art work. Put me down as interested in custom logo possibility!

When in hand you will see some minor scratches and imperfections in the glossy surface. Once on the car you will never see them. We do our best during manufacturing and etching to reduce the minor scratches as much as possible; it's tricky.

I'm confident you'll be very pleased with them.

The only thing I am having an issue with is that when the light hits the rear ones you can see the crease in the flap... Anybody have a fix for this? Did I tighten the bolts down too much? Didn't think I over tightened, but the crease looks kinda tacky :o

Please post a pic of the crease you're seeing so I can help. The picture two posts up of the rears show no crease that I can see.

Thanks,
Jamie

Installed mine last weekend and love them. We have a dirt and gravel lot here at work and I'm always dirty. I've definitely noticed a difference with our afternoon storms all week.

One thing that bugs me is my right rear is slightly off. I drilled to close to the edge by mistake as it was the first one I did. No worries, gonna ream the holes a tad at a later date to get the "L" bracket to center better.
