ive had my PMM and TMM on for a few weeks now and i love them. the vibes are MUCH less then i expected but i have a few rattles inside the cabin that i need to track down. other then that the engine feels super planted and i cant wait to try these out on the track!!!

as always JBR makes amazing products and their customer service is second to none.

meelo88 06-07-2013 12:06 PM

I just finsihed installing the PMM and RMM.

I had the TMM installed earlier when i did my BNR.

All the mounts are 80a. The TMM seems to give me the most noise when my clutch is fully released at idle. It sounds so loud...i wonder if my TOB is installed wrong.

The vibes added from the PMM and RMM are very minimal and I can barely tell they are there. At take off the car shakes more, but after getting to speed it's fine. Idle noise is no worse than it was before with just the TMM.

Overall I say these monts are awesome. I think because I sound deadened my doors for audio i cut down on a lot of the vibes people are experiencing.

Excellent parts and I'll update when I put more miles down on it.

Thanks Jamie! Love getting mounted by you! :biglaugh:

God bless, Jamie your killin me. I need to check this thread more often, I need to ditch these AWR mounts. These need to quit selling out while I am not looking.

Navy_Mech2 06-11-2013 01:39 AM

yea for real. i got excited and went on the site and saw they were sold out haha

JBR 06-11-2013 03:22 PM

More MS6 mounts will be finished up and back in stock tomorrow late afternoon.

razorscs 06-12-2013 01:01 PM

So I installed the PMM in 70d last night and all I can say is wow! Shifting is so improved and I don't know if it's just me but the steering feels so much tighter as well. My car already has upgraded TMM and RMM and it still made an enormous difference. I'm way happy.

These are available again.

Hey Jaime,
I'm about to pull the trigger on a trilogy 80a to go with the new engine, and was wondering if I can still get in on the intro package deal?

Picking em up no matter what, my mounts are old, and the new mill deserves a comfy home :)

Sorry man that offer has passed but, the trilogy is still really well priced. Actually, there has been a recent increase in the cost of raw urethane which may force us to increase prices a bit so, sooner than later could be the best time to pick these up.

Just installed my 80 duro PMM on the MS6. Vibes aren't terrible and mount was a perfect fit.

Funkster777 07-16-2013 08:36 PM

RMM and PMM were installed this weekend while the engine was put back into the car. My original PMM was broken (didn't know that). I'm waiting until later to install the TMM. I'm not driving the car during the breaking (IL is too far from MI). @silvapain; is driving it and says PMM has lots of vibes but only with 25 miles on it. I suspect that will die down over time. I'll await final judgment until I drive it back to MI.

Damn these are some sexy ass mounts :) jbr ftw

kinda a dumb question, but are the bushing replacable? I was kinda wanting to get them powdered a different color (weird I know) and obviously I don't wanna cook those bushings lol

Yes they are, I pulled mine apart and had them powdered back in december for my build. Its super easy to remove the old and swap in the new ones, the hardest part is getting torqueing the passenger side down.

If i recall correctly, if you where to do that it would voild the warrenty on the two piece mounts I.E. passenger side.

yeah that's what I figured. these mounts look amazing. i'm on a fence with these or AWR. not worried about price, but saving 100$ is not bad, BUT I've heard some horror stories with AWR mounts (I.e. engine sitting angled) and I DONT want that. BUT I need Mounts Yesterday lol. my SURE RMM has failed completely, and both my stock PMM/TMM are gone... i'm worred about breaking other componants with the amount of engine movement I have right now :'( lol

These mounts are bullet proof and will not give you any trouble. Also, the Passenger mount is properly oriented so the weight of the motor will not destroy the bushing. You may pay a little more now but it beats paying twice for mount that don't last.

I have had these mounts in the car with the new motor for almost 12k miles now, and I beat the shit out of them! (well, in the 3 of course) but i wouldnt run any other mount in my car or even consider them in another.

Almost all my local guys have JBR mounts, and those that dont im trying to convert over!

It is one of the best investments you will make!

89rotary 07-17-2013 09:41 AM

I actually like that JBarone jumped in and helped provide info on his mounts. really shows a active merchant and someone I wanna do business with.

I've been pissed off since my SURE RMM failed with 7k on it... its horrible. I got seduced by the packaging lol. so i'll be glad to have NOTHING with Sure on it finally. oh well. this isn't a cry fest. i'm stoked to get these ordered and installed! thanks for your guys time!:flowers1::flowers1:

Impressions on my 70 duro PMM - much more solid feel when shifting (due to less engine movement). When I first installed, I was surprized how much louder the mount made the car. Vibes were definitely noticable but over the last 400miles, noise and vibes have reduced quite a bit and overall I am pretty happy with the mount.

JBR 07-22-2013 06:41 AM

The vibes and noise will almost be non-existent after about 1500 miles.

Because I am a weak old man, is that on just the 70d that will happen or would they pretty much vanish on the 80d as well?

Currently leaning towards the 70d trilogy, but 80 would be better for LC...

Rokusek 07-23-2013 08:06 AM

Your not going to have much vibes on the 80's if any, if you jump to the 88's you will have a little, but it wont be anything compared to having a BSD with two 88's and an 80.

My personal opinion, if your going to buy them you might as well buy the 88's. Your already spending the money why not get the stiffer ones that are going to give you the best performance out of the mounts.

You'll have some tranny noise but not much in the way of vibration.

stuntz89 07-31-2013 06:26 PM

Tranny noise is bearable..... Sounds like a turbine spinning up:cool2:

jm211 08-08-2013 09:24 AM

Received my rmm, installed same day.

Didnt have an official breaker bar but managed just fine. Install was easy and it fit perfect.

I honestly was used to the way my trashed cpe mount shifted. With jamie's mount, i was actually startled but how easy it made the shift, cesspecially from 2 to 3. Holy crap.

Now i need to order the other two mounts. :smlove2:

Boostin'likeAboss 08-08-2013 05:20 PM

Got the PMM in 80a for my birthday and I'am very impressed with the weld quality. Zero heat warp and about 2cm of undercut through out the whole thing. Not an easy thing to do in those tight corners. It was also ordered while out of stock, it still came to my doorstep faster than some other parts I've gotten elsewhere that were in stock.

Will be installing after I buy the TMM next month. Pretty pumped to get that stock junk out of there!

NEED MORE JBR MS6 LOVE :18:

89rotary 08-11-2013 12:10 PM

posted in the other thread, but i'll mention it here. Just installed my JBR RMM. Glad to be Rid of my SURE mount, and really impressed with the RMM so far. of course i have Vibs, but Even my Wife says she'll take the VIbes over the engine knock anyday:yeah:

Do you think side mounts will be delivered to 48823 before the weekend if I order today?

Possibly, it would be close.

Funkster777 08-20-2013 12:42 PM

OK, update. I have the 80 PMM and RMM installed on the car. The vibration is a ton, especially when cruising between 3000-3500 rpm. Everything is the car is vibrating: rear view mirror, side mirrors, change, etc. I have 1300 miles on them. It is too much for me (and most others that have ridden with me). I suspect it is from the PMM so it is coming out (sorry Jamie) with the stock one going back in. I haven't installed the TMM and I don't think I will.
