It seems like a lot of members here are working their way up to a bigger turbo, but I haven't seen much progress being posted. Where's everyone hiding? Post your fails/successes thus far, whether you're going with an AP or SB, stock or built block, what turbo, powar goals, etc etc.

just waiting for my ewg and ebcs then i'll get started. just want a safe ~350-370 whp around ~330-350 tq maybe @ 18 psi. will save up for carillo rods + wiseco pistons then i'll shoot for 400+whp @ 22psi.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Not bad man, getting everything ready. For those who don't know, I've been waiting for one of RR's kits. I ended up purchasing the kit off of the shop car, and got a nice slump of money back. Because their kit was a bit different than what I had ordered, they are in the process of making it how I want it. Mainly changing the DP for VTA ewg instead of having the dump tube recirculating back into the exhaust, and tapping the cold pipe for meth, along with some other small changes. The kit will be shipped out this week, I will be talking to Scott on Monday to see what's what. I will definitely be raising hell if this week isn't met. As far as my goals, we'll see how the maps that RR provides me with and how e-tuning goes, which they're hooking me up with. I'm considering taking the car up to Utah to get it tuned at Cobb, but who knows. I'm NOT aiming for big power, I just want to fall in love with the car again. I will likely not be touching anything over 14psi.

well I have most of socks setup right about now, just waiting on ewg. I should finally be placing my order for internals after not finding any real deals besides SU this week. I should be built and tuned by mid May. cp pistons, pauter rods, 9.0 compression .02 over and all of the su engine build accoutrement , ptp 5 layer headgasket, new injector seals, and ptp arp headstuds, turbo- gt3071r exh mani- dcr mani ewg- tial mvs 38mm intake inlet- cpe xcel xl + cpe tip ( 4") exhaust- socks custom vband dp, cobb cbe cobb fmic NOT gonna do an intake mani, the prices dont seem justified yet if you ask me still looking for an ebcs gonna tune with the sb w/ all the flashes and such hopefully cpe will have the mounts available by then and I have my cdfp installed by then still undecided on meth though prolly gonna get a stage 2+ clutch when all of this is said and done I hope to be around 420 -440 hp That is my progress so far, shit cost a lot of money at the moment, so I am being gradual with it. Its funny cuz at first I thought I was gonna stop at my current setup, now here I am going all the way ( sorta) I will have for sale a cpe cai, cpe tip ( for stock turbo and cpe cai), cpe dp (catted), and a cs cbe- shit sounds good and opens the car up nicely. I think I might help the community by letting it all go for around 1-1.2k shipped as a combo. maybe less we will see how happy i am when the car is being ripped apart.

As soon as I can afford gonna go 28,71 or 76r turbo most likely 71. Atp said all there turbos shipped in the last 6 months have ported IWG so no need to go EWG. makes it alot easier not have to fab a bunch of stuff.

U took that off? While its not a big turbo, Im going with a BNR (stage 2 or 3) turbo. Should be done ina 3-4 weeks, and also using the Grimmspeed EBCS. Should be tuned and runing ina a couple months

2008 speed 3 with a gt3071r and ap tuned to 360whp and 375ftlbs at 20psi, bent a rod and am now building the whole engine, should be another month or so till its done and we retune and crank the boost to 25psi and see what can happen. Oh by the way that 360 was on a dynapack dyno.

Awesome, keep the responses coming! I love teh sound of EWG, Smoker and Dane I've watched your videos so many times. Cagey I'm probably most excited to see what you can do on your setup, especially on the AP because I don't really plan to make the switch. Anyone using the Greddy Profec EBC?

Well I've been waiting for my RR turbo setup since way back in september, like some of the other guys. I have a forged motor which was one of the last ones out of P3 (another delay friendly experience) Fully ported head, 3 angle valve job... yada yada yada. Ported intake manifold (a la moi) Anyhow... and I have both the AP and Standback.... so first I"ll see how the AP does, then more than likely I"ll be sending my ecu off to CP-E for the wall flash etc.... and make some stupid power... and or break another motor. Time will tell. Oh yeah, and she's a very sexy Translucent shade of blue | ||||||||

i have a full built engine pauter/cp. any way im putting a holset h1c turbo.(off a dodge cummings 5.9 engine) with a 12mm hx35 hot side. will be running a tial 44 ewg. goals are to not blow up lol.. well so far fails out weigh success 2:1 right now. but im half way through the tunnel and i can see the light. should have it on the road this weekend or next week sometime and will have videos up soon. i will also be making a thread for it as well. im going to be useing the SB(pnp) as of right now dont have any of the flashes but will get them as soon as $$$ is laying around...

im waitin to go the holset route too. i have the hx35 layin around but i need some money for a manifold big time and once austin has his setup done we'll see how much work it takes. im gonna tune with the ap since cobb surgeline is like 45 minutes from my house. lookin for 400whp or so, but got a ways to go before i get there. oh yeah i have carillo rods and pauter 9.5:1 pistons. gonna get my mani pnp'd by speedsixxx when i have some extra cash, or maybe wait to see if silver demon is gonna make a kit for us sorry fuckers

Im pretty sure everyone knows my plans...holset hx35 setup, i will be making my own downpipe and possibly intake if i have to, i will also be modifying my medival manifold to move the turbo how it needs to be. I should be mapping out the setup and have my mani in to the shop to be welded by the end of this month. After its all on and running good i will be doing E-tuning purchased from RR (if they are still around lol).

I went to go get dyno tuned today its going to be multiday project due to the time involved. Tuning with the AP takes a good amount of time especially since you can't flash directly from your laptop. Today, they got me started with a solid baseline that eliminated the knock retard i was getting between 4200rpms-5500rpms since my peak torque powerband changed with the new turbo. Next time they tune the car it will be for higher boost. They were pretty impressed the car made 260whp @10psi
