Default CS Turbo preload

I am needing to adjust the preload on my CST4 turbo, while it's on the car. . . What is the easiest way to get at it, would it be from underneath the car or from the top? Thanks.

I adjust mine from the top. You can get it done with two 10mm combo wrenches.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you adjusting it?

Sure, my tuner said it's not building enough PSIs and I need to increase the preload on the wastegate.

My preload is factory set and I can get 28psi. What boost are you aiming for? Lol.

Define, "not enough PSIs". What boost pressure are you targeting? Are you sure that everything is buttoned up properly and that you don't have a leak somewhere in the system?

Bump, did you get this resolved? I’m also having issues, I’m at 80%WGDC and only able to hit 24.5 psi. Checked 2 times for boost leaks, none found. I feel kinda odd adjusting the preload to be honest. I have a CS EBCS set up in bleed mode and CSt4

No not really, I adjusted preload. You can get to it feom the top of engine. I did find a small boost leak that helped some.

Change your setup to 3-port interrupt instead of 2-port bleed.
