Default Abilor cashes out on your dime!

Well folks, the day has finally come. Apologies for not updating my tooning guide, but after pulling major hours and landing an amazing job in South Carolina, I traded in my Speed 3 for this:













So it's a bittersweet day.

Meanwhile, I hope to blaze new paths in the Mustang tuning community. I'll be in and out here, but I suspect much more heavily involved on ModdedMustangs.com.

This forum is fucking awesome. Glad I got to participate in my small way, and sorry again the tuning guide never got updated; 70 hour weeks and wife/young kid leave you pretty effin tired. Couldn't have gotten into this hobby without you guys, so thanks.

OH MY GOD. There's power everywhere. It's ridiculous. It spools up to 4.5k so easily, and that's then the party starts. Tons of torque. Out of the box sounds so fucking mean. I was literally driving it home from the dealership when a punk in a turboed civic insisted I race him. I gave her a little bit of gas and left him in the dust; when he let off, the BOV gasped and black smoke poured out of his tailpipe. He pulled off into the Piggly Wiggly parking lot looking concerned LOL. Thanks to this board, I will ALWAYS school civic boys with no mercy, no matter what I'm in.

The Boss also HANDLES. Holy shit. Columbia has all sorts of "cloverleaf" on ramps, and you can run through them at 75 mph in this thing, OUT OF THE BOX. You can adjust the stiffness over all the wheels too. It's like coilovers come with it; I'm not planning on any suspension tweaks for a while.

Stereo sucks. A lot. So that's the first thing I'm going to do, along with some baller tint. First power adder is probably going to be Long Tube headers, high-flow Kooks H-pipe for teh Boss, and an axleback exhaust. Maybe a JLT CAI. Definitely getting a tuning solution.

You know I'm going to supercharge it eventually, right? The reason I bought the Boss: Forged Rotating Assembly. Stock GT's can handle 8psi, but the Boss can be taken up to 12+psi and still function as a Daily Driver. Hehe... Can't Wait!

Thanks for all your help, and thats a sexy ass car, my friend has a '12 boss, running a 100 shot, intake and tune. Stock exhaust is sexy as hell, all you have to do is remove the restrictor plates on the side exit pipes and it'll make a huge difference!

Follow me on Modded Mustang. That community doesn't have nearly the tuning acumen our group does. They can barely plug into the ODBII port to load a shitty, mass-marketed tune. I'm having a hard time finding a map editor, and when I ask, I get scolded for "thinking I could possibly tune a car myself." LOL.

Most of mustang owners do not realize what you can do to a car tuning wise... Hell most people in general don't know that... I am new to the tuning thing for the most part but it is crazy what kind of power you can get by just altering a tune... Show them the light...

The new Boss 302's are disgustingly awesome! The one engineer I work with just bought one and loves it. Thing sounds nasty and has got some power! MAke sure you take off the plates that block the side exhaust. Louder the better!

Sitting here at work, reading this thread with a co-worker who is thinking about buying a '13 MS3. Now he(my friend) is afraid to register and post on here,he is worried that he will get flammed then banned.(he is actually an idiot so it probably would be justified). But the FIRST thing he noticed was that this forum "veteran" sold his MODDED car WITHOUT the tune or tuning device.
