Brand new motor from Mazda. Break in time. SO I hydro locked my speed6 a week or two ago. Insurance covered me for a new motor from Mazda. The shop is installing it all I have to do is break in. Ive broken in an aircraft motor (boxer motor) but it was old and carbed. I know the jist just wanted to know if any of you have any tricks or tips for the mzr. Also, does the factory do any break in prior to shipping it out? Thanks. |
No synthetic oil first 1000 No constant RPMs first 500 Some engine braking to seat rings early. |
No constant rpm? Do you mean let it idle when cruising or just keep Bringing it up and back down |

Yep. Thats the school we are from. beat on that shit but opinions def vary. Or OP you can drive it like youre in stop and go traffic for the 20 miles THEN beat on that shit. I beat on mine right off the lot |
Run it hard. Sent from my balls via my penis |
I beat on mine all the time....but my engine, well maybe I'll try it this time. It couldn't end any worse for me. |
Do NOT have a wastegate line come off during a nitrous pull. I'm also of the opinion that beating on it asap is associated with proper break in technique. |

Holy shitballs I remember reading that like years ago; I had forgotten all about it! |
